"I went to Remington a while back, and it was the. Ingest mistake!! Right when you start the process they make you think that its the best and once your done, youll graduate making all this money in a professional environment. Its all bs, and nobody would hire me and didnt even ask acknowledge Remongton. After I graduated I was just left to pay all this money for no reason at all. I got nothing out of it and didnt even learn to code. Today Im doing fine, I have my own business. Remington was a joke, waste of time and 20k. I hope they get sued big time and return my money. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO GO TO REMINGTON, Its all BS!!!"

"I attended the Memphis, TN campus and graduated in 2010 with honors. I left the school not only with a degree that is worthless but also 37K in debt. They would not give my diploma b/c of the remaining 5K that I owed until it's paid in full. Some great instructors there (high turn over rate) but for the most part the whole experience was total a LIE! I could have went to a local reputable university, enrolled in an accelerated degree program, and received a Bachelors Degree in the same amount of time( 2yrs) for less money had I done better research. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ANY REMINGTON COLLEGE CAMPUS! You will ruin your future! I am praying, researching and plan to work with a local legal company to investigate fraudulent activity. I know there are many there and I will not stop until there is justice for all of US they have deceived!"

"I attended Remington College at the Heathrow campus in Flordia a couple years ago and graduated in 2018. If I could do it all over again, I would pick Keiser or any other school. I would like to give a ZERO because the education at this campus is well below the $47,000 tuition and fees I paid. The college spends more money and time on marketing their programs than on the actual programs which are inadequate and horrifically out-dated materials. Initially, I was 'sold' on the quality of the program by the self-proclaimed guru of the Occupational Therapy world, the department (bald) head. I received straight A's in all my courses and upon graduation was looking forward to working in the OTA field. The biggest surprise came when I had to pass my national exams-- I failed 8 times!!! This program is a joke because it does not even prepare for you to take the exam! If it wasn't for my friend who graduated from Keiser to share her coursework with me, I never would have passed the ninth time! Also, it was VERY hard to find an employer that would take the Remington Degree seriously. They all said that any of the students they worked with as interns for OTA did not know how to do anything. When I finally got hired, I am making $16/hour because only the good employers will hire from the best schools like Keiser and Adventist."

"The enrollment department made a huge show of how great their program was, instructors that love their jobs, all the great money I was going to make out of the gate, etc. I never should have listened, I'm actually a little embarrassed how much I believed their crap. $16k for the program, first of all, and I'm not even making that annually right now. Most of these entry level jobs pay less than retail and NO ONE recognizes my education w/Remington. I actually had an employer LAUGH IN MY FACE when I mentioned I completed the program w/full honors. They were probably right to, as I found out quickly that the curriculum was HIGHLY outdated and I know less than half of the things I need to work in my field. Things on my certification exams were never even touched on in class, and I had A's in every class so I know I didn't just miss something. Some instructors were great but I actually had one that spent the entirety of a month long course complaining about her ex. We spent a full 25 minutes on the coursework. Pathetic. Don't bother trying to get in touch with their "amazing" career services they go on and on about. All but one of my emails has gone unanswered and it's impossible to get them by phone. They don't help me w/my resume or interview tips now that I've graduated. They seem mostly just to be there for show so that new students think they're getting something "extra" that other schools don't offer. If all that wasn't bad enough, I requested disability accommodations multiple times. There was no confusion on whether or not I actually had a disability; I was pretty obviously physically disabled for the entire program and had multiple doctors notes to prove it. And yet they denied my requests, said everything would be taken care of. Well, long story short, it wasn't."

"The president at Lafayette campus is horrible. She forgets that Remington already has a bad name and some of us or really just their because the offer the program we need. She forgets that its the student and enrollment that's keeps her employed. She forgets that its a school that they depend on students to promote the school. Word of advice make sure you never have to go through her for anything. Cause she talks to people as if they or her employees and not students. News flash that is not the only school in the area."

"The school is awesome classes or very smile for those interested in small class environments. However I only have two issues. One is with the person over financial aid she has an horrible personality and not helpful at all. My second issue is with the school director. Some people when they get reach a certain position they forget that the have a job because of two main reasons. The first one is because of students like and the 2nd one is because of students like me and what experience with share with others about the school. The talks go people as if it's a personal matter towards her for whatever the issue is. Word of advice the enrollment keeps you with your job. So lose the attitude."

"The instructors for medical assisting was nice and helpful. The school is unstructured and unprofessional. The students do not follow the dress code, and the staff do not always remind the students about the dress code. The students do not always wear their student ID. The student ID is part of the dress code, and for security to verify that the students are in fact students. I would not recommend the school to anyone. From my own observation, there is discrimination by the staff toward students."

"This school is lousy and the management are unprofessional and rude. This is a for profit school because that is all they care about. A waste of money and time. I would not recommend this school to anyone. I live in Houston, Tx. Please save your money."

"Maybe some people see this school as horrible but personally i love Remington and the instructors!! You can not blame a school for your failure... It is all about your dedication to getting the job done!! I maintained a 4.0 my entire 13 months as well as perfect attendance and when i finished they landed me job.. I started here as a technician then promoted to Lead Technician and now Assistant Pharmacy Manager.. If i could do it all over again I would definitely do so!! Of course the student loans are rather high .. about $15,000 i owe back and i pay about $160 a month back!! This school was amazing!!!! I also make well above the average technician!!"

"DO NOT GO HERE!!!! BEWARE!! Extremely expensive tuition leaving every student in long-term student debt. There is a low grade quality education. Instructors give you ALL the answers to the tests and quizzes prior to taking them, and if not it's all open-book. You will graduate with a salary expectation of making a few dollars more than your local McDonald's employee. The instructor turn-over rate is exceedingly high as 1 leaves at least every month! Rules change daily with many gray areas! Finance department has no working business model and no standard operating procedures! They NEVER know when you will get paid or where your money is even located!!!! Worst institution EVER!"

"Hello how are you all doing. I attended Remington College in Memphis,TN location and this school is a joke. I'm in 45,000 dollars in debt dealing with this college. No one will accept the credit and if they do it have to be a private college. I'm so disgusted with this college and I'm very disappointedisappointed. Dr. May at the time was the president at this school said I can go to any college I want to with this degree. I didn't pay all this money to become a security guard. And most security guard companies don't want to accept this degree"

"I had pleasant experiences with Remington College Honolulu Campus school, in the heart of downtown Honolulu and a nice 10-15 minute walk away from the Aloha tower. i did find it odd that all my grades were As because in high school it was definitely not a 4.0 GPA; might be my positive military life somehow. Like everything in life you have to research what you want to become. Speak to the companies HR rep and ask what certifications, degrees, qualifications or accreditations for degrees does the average employees have? Back in the days you did not need Pharm D, now it seems all the top paying places require Pharm D. Back in the days your engineering degree did not need to be ABET accredited. Now working for the US government your engineering degree needs to be ABET accredited. Education is constantly changing, constantly adding new accreditation requirements to simply be hired at your dream job. Reasons personally I think its a $$$$ game. These are also the reasons schools charge top dollars because getting accredited does not come cheap for these institutions of higher learning. So before going out and seeking a degree, seek what you want to become first and ask what certifications, degrees, qualifications or accreditations for degrees do I need to be a top candidate for this position and then seek the school that will provide those requirements. Sometimes you may never know when your school will go under, such is the case for ITT that filed for bankruptcy. So always thread carefully when planning to pursue a for-profit technical institute. Always ask prior to attending a school for higher learning, what degrees does your schools offer and are any of your degrees accredited? Please heed my advice as I have attended numerous colleges and gain valuable life changing experiences: Honolulu Community College, Remington College Honolulu Campus, Hopkinsville Community College, Excelsior College, I got accepted into Creighton University (Go Blue Jays!) however one class was too much $$$$$ for my Family and I. Please don't seek what school you want to attend first. Seek what you want to become first and find out what degrees and accreditation are required and then seek the school that meets all your requirements! I am SSG Marlon A. "This degree program is a nightmare. Fellow classmates could barely write a complete thought, spell, and or express understanding of legal concepts which are skills vital to the legal field. The entrance exam is a joke. I am broken-hearted for those who completed this program, because in the real world- grammar and proper spelling is a must in this field. The weekly assignments where you must engage with other students is extremely difficult when your peers cannot spell or write proper sentences. There were several assignments where the information was incorrect or uploaded improperly- I also spent unnecessary time and effort on these assignments, only to discover that they were incorrect from the beginning. The professor just copied and pasted someone else's work and never bothered to go over the assignments to ensure they were in fact uploaded correctly. Exams have out-dated answers, and even after you prove the correct answer, you are not given any credit. Good lunch finding out the truth on what is expected of you- as you are pushed around from one Remington College employee to the next. They also drop the ball on very important issues and are quick to place blame on you the student."

"Looking back at this choice to go to this school I SEVERELY REGRET IT!!!! No one at any of my jobs has gone to school for this job they all got on the job training which at the time I didn't even know wasn't necessary for doing this job! I wrote Remington corporate office a certified letter about how dumb our teacher was and how super unorganized she was with all of out certificates for us to take our board test and THEY DIDN'T CARE ! They already had their money so why would they! Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL COLLEGE!!!! This is just a for profit place and your credits aren't even transferable!"

"I feel like I learned more in my high school medical studies than I did at Remington. I EASILY maintained a 4.0 in my year at the school. After graduation and externship the lies and deception started showing heavily. I did the course with EKG/X-ray. Every place I went to in a 20 mile radius of my location said I was not qualified for positions at their office(I would need more school) Basically certificate was just a piece of paper. The career placement staff kept sending me job leads that were 1 hr drive away in no traffic. Any job leads i had were minimum wage which is hard to take because my current job was paying way more than that. Long story short this school is a joke!"

"I graduated in 2011 from Remington in Southeast Houston and I work for a big time hospital with great pay. I read some of the reviews and honestly all these people sound lazy. First of all, you have to put yourself out there and find yourself a job. They can not guarantee you a job that is what your supposed to make an effort in doing. Just like any college, your not going to graduate and find your dream job right away. I took a low pay job because I was a student with no experience and now 5 yrs later I became successful at what I do and kept thriving forward. That is how you become something of yourself with your degree. Now I am going back for nuclear medicine. So if your expecting to graduate, get a high paying job and expect them to get you a job then don't bother here. If your willing to make efforts and help yourself become successful then apply and best of luck to you. Once you graduate take what job offers you can in the position and get the experience you will need to become successful. Basically don't be lazy!"

"I attended the same school and same program at the Dallas (Garland) Campus. All they care about is money. Many of the people who went to school with had no business being there. The medical field is very professionally based and employers are not going to hire people with facial tattoos who are unable to read and write in English. I was the only one in my class to graduate on the Dean's List and pass the National Certification Exam. After graduation I learned one of my instructors was NOT an RN after months of her telling us she was one. No one at the school would talk about this. This school is NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY. I literally had to BEG the president of the school in order to have access to my VA benefits after being promised when I registered for MA classes. The career placement services is a joke. The ONLY REASON I was able to find a job is because of getting a business suit and literally walking door to door in a medical office building handing out heavy paper printed professionally done resumes. If you are seriously wanting to get into the medical field AVOID this school and go to a community college. There's a reason there is so many horrible reviews of Remington College."

"The professors don't care about the students. They make you do a lot of assignments that don't teach very much, and they talk down to all of the assignments. If you have extenuating circumstances that conflict with homework or the ability to attend that are out of your control, they hold it against you. You end up pulling your hair out on some assignments trying to meet their expectations. I have to work six-seven days a week to cover my living-expenses, which leaves me at my witt's-end by the time that I get to school, and I'm always worried about meeting expectations. Ms. G. knows her material, but is a horrible person who doesn't give any breathing room"

"Attended Remington College Honolulu Campus. Only got a job as Security Captain for a high rise condominium. No advancement. Career service did NOT help much. I was suppose to have an appointment with the Career Service guy and found out he quit without even letting me know. No internship for CJ. Waste of money. Take your money somewhere else. Start with a community college and move on to a university. Classes are easy. NO challenge. Stuff they teach are pretty much what you learn in your freshmen/sophomore year in high school."
