I enrolled in remington college ma program i found the school to be horrible not only are the teachers not qualified but director plays like she cares so much until your three months have passed and u cant get a refund.

the recruiters will hound u to get u in but once the money is paid you will see a different side. i am not a slacker i attended class and had a 4.0 gpa. please go to a real college or university this place is a joke.

I implore you not to waste your time or money on this "college". ALL they are concerned with is getting money from the federal government and getting you into debt. They use a company called Sallie Mae Financial--which could quite possibly be THE WORST company to deal with when it comes to student loans. They will not lower your payments or give you a deferment. It is their way or the highway. The whole school climate is VERY unprofessional. They pretend to care and promise you a job, but they are only after enrollment figures and $$$$$. I was "promised" a job when I completed my program. Yeah, they found me a job--a customer service job from the newspaper that I could have easily found myself. DO NOT attend there, DO NOT enroll there, and I beg you to share all of this information with everyone you know. This school is a mistake and other schools like this WILL NOT help you improve your life. I think you'd be better off attending a nearby university. You've been warned. God bless you.

Do not go to Remington! I just graduated from there in the MIC(coding program). In 9 months we learned nothing! It has nothing to do with slacking. Most of the staff/teachers dont know how to teach. We had an MA teaching our program since the other MIC Instructor left without notice. They only care about getting students in and taking their money. One instructor we had didn't like to be "bothered" by our questions because she was too busy doing her own online classes. This school is an absolute joke!

I attend remington, medical assistant program, and its great. So much hands-on experience. Im making straight As because I study. The people that write these bad reviews most likely be the ones that dont study and want a hand out. No one owes you anything. Do your work and thats that. I love it and will recommend this school to anyone. If you want all the experience and practice come here, we practice everyday on everything. This is a great school for medical assistant, I can't speak on the rest.

Dont make the same mistake I did. I was a single mother with 2 kids, thought I was doing the right thing. I make maybe 20K yr for a AA, still paying on loan from yrs ago. I cant continue my education at South, Springhill, Bishop State, NO ONE will take my credits from this school. So I have to start all over while still paying on my loan. DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE!!!

don't even consider to go to that school. this is a private school they can do whatever they want. i am currently in the nursing program. first they lie about the hesi exit exam. they do not tell you that you have to have a 900 on the hesi to be able to graduate. second the vice president does not want certain people to graduate because they think certain people will not pass the nclex. there is only one nice and fair faculty at the school. every one else wants you to flunk, after they take your $30000. that is all the vice president cares about, your money.

Not only is this school a scam, the administration tries extremely hard to get anyone kicked out of school for the smallest things.Cell phones you go home for two days, colorful socks one day, wrinkled clothes one day, sitting in the wrong seat one day. If you are at Remington college enrolled in the Cosmetology program you should know that every minute on the clock makes a difference. If you miss one day you are in danger of not passing on to the next mod because every four weeks you have to accumulate one hundred and twenty five hours. If you do choose this school just be on your game and be sure not to half step one day because it will be a waste of twenty thousand dollars because of something small.

At first I was skeptical, but I really enjoy going. It's a great learning environment. I'm still going to to a state university, but it def is worth the time and money. As long as you do well on labs, tests, and study! I have nothing bad to say bout it!

I attended there in the Medical Coding and Insurance program. I had a great time the first couple of months and felt good I would land a terrific job to support me and my kids. After the third month or so it seemed like the classes were repeating themselves, and the Coding part of the program is a joke!!!!!

They don't teach you but about 4 weeks of coding, and the instructors drop like flies in that department and they don't even know how to code!!! And everyone passes, the instructors make sure.. don't miss a day they will call you 30 minutes after class starts to find out why!! I only missed one day in 9 months and they were having a cow!!!They only want your money!!I can't get a job because I don't have 2 yrs. experience in medical billing. And the part that makes it worse I owe them $100.00 a month and in a few more months I have student loans coming due at another 150.00 monthly and I can't get a job. A lot of businesses turn you away when they see Remington on your resume!!! Students that graduated before got jobs and showed they were clueless and ruined it for everyone!! Go get a job in a medical office as the receptionist and you will get one faster than going to remington. Even insurance giants around here, hire you if you have delt with claims in automobiles, you don't need Remington, they don't even prepare you for the test you have to take after you graduate to be certified in this program. They give you a book and tell you to study this at home while you are waiting to take the test!! I can't even get my Diploma from them because I can't pay my $100 I owe them because I can't get a job!!!! Take anatomy class and medical terminolgy classes and then you will be elgible for the state exam test, without paying Remington $14,000.00 for the course!! Thanks for the debt and for selling me a DREAM, that won't come true!!!

Oh and by the way I have been to college have an associates in teaching and I have stable work history, not the reason I can't get a job.... in this field...It's cause Remington is on my RESUME, and they don't help you get a job, they email you jobs they see online, and they call that career services!!! I know over 25 people who recently graduated and they are either unemployed or they are working jobs that don't even relate to the program they went through at Remington!! Stay Away unless you already have 2 yrs in medical records or have 2 yrs working in a clinic or hospital!!!!

As i read the other reviews i laugh that slackers don't gain anything from slacking off at school.

Remington college is a fully accredited institution meaning it is a authentic and competitive college.

I've been enrolled into the Computer Networking administration program and i've already been able to use the skills i learned in the real world.

The great benefits about the program are the certifications which can carry as much weight as a bachelors degree when combined with your Associates degree. just look at career builder and see how many employers REQUIRE these certifications. not to mention remington college offers these for FREE. (for the first time if you fail its then out of pocket for a retest)

MY teachers are very helpful and are very knowledgeable in their career fields. as they are currently working and carry several certifications themselves, they teach you what you need to know and what you dont, they answer questions clearly and spend time with you on things you find difficult.

Remington college offers many benefits over state universities and these people calling it a rip off dont know what they are talking about. in CNA people are getting hired into the computer networking and Desktop support field by their 4th term. thats only a fraction of the way towards completing the program.

The classrooms tend to be cold...thats my only complaint. well worth every penny for those of you who are concerned about your education and arent slackers and quitters.
