"Make sure you speak with the right counselors, I didn't and ended up joining the military instead of finishing the degree I spent so much time on."

"Rogue community College is a good school for begginners. The basics you learn there will help you to further your schooling if you decide to transfer out to a university. I have enjoyed taking my prerequisites with rogue community college and all my instructors are very helpful and explain in good detail the information I need to pass."

"Rogue Community College is great. All the teachers are very nice and mostly understanding to all students' needs. I've enjoyed taking classes at both the Medford and Grants Pass campuses. The students are usually friendly as well because everyone's needs' are always met. There is always someone to help you with specific things you need."

"I know that the nursing program at RCC is one of the best. It's very tough to get into because there is such a large number of students reaching for the stars! You have to have really amazing grades as well."

"Rogue Community College is a beautiful campus located in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. The campus & classrooms are continually updated to make available the best technology. Aside from the serenity, the school offers many services and guidance to keep you motivated, involved, and aware of opportunities that might be available. The instructors are passionate, receptive, and competent."

"I began at Rogue Community College in a program called Bright Futures. This 12 credit course work program was a helpful segway for an older adult going back to school after over 26 years away from formal educational setting. I learned that I could return to college and be successful. This was offered to me completely free, what a blessing. My continuation at Rogue Community College in regular curriculum setting was quite impressive. I had mostly Professors for instructors. In the small community I live it surprised me pleasantly to experience high quality instructors at the community college level. My tuition was well spent and I enjoyed the entire experience. The professional staff and teachers all the way around bent over backwards in helping me be successful. The accessibility and communication lines were very approachable and took away any fears I might of had in asking for appropriate helps. I would highly recommend this small college to anyone in or around the area of Southern Oregon. Currently, I am finishing my last term at this school online to graduate. My online learning environment is challenging but I have every help I need and am doing A work, so I am also pleased with this experience too. I would rate this school an A+ if it was on a grading scale."

"While I have attended Rogue Community college, I have experienced a true learning environment where the teachers want you to succeed. I have attended other colleges in the past and they treated the students like they were not worth the time to help them. I would recommend this college to anyone, so the can also see that this is truly where dreams are made and careers are born."

"I am an adult learner and my college is fantastic in my opinion. I started last spring and they made sure I knew how to get around my campus by having a new student orientation. They offered several get to know you types of events for the teachers to give you information about the types of programs that are available in the school. I learned about their massage therapy program this way. I am currently a student in the program and I am excited about what I am learning. I have found a lot of the people on the campus to be friendly. They are always doing awareness booths in the commons areas and giving the students pick me ups. The campus its self is beautiful I loved it in the spring when all of the beautiful flowers were in bloom. They team that keeps the campus looking great have labeled all the trees and bushes so you know what kinds they are its almost like getting a horticulture lesson when your walking through campus. I am very pleased with the support teams at this school. The amazing ladies at the financial aid office were so fantastic when I was first trying to learn all the things I needed to know. I appreciate all of the teachers and the effort they put forward to help you. The school offers free tutoring and free parking not something you find everywhere."

"Rogue Community College is a great place to get started, or get a new, fresh start going back to school. The class sizes are intimate, which allows the student to gain the most out of each class period, each class discussion, each lecture and lab. It's easy to feel connected, like part of the college, which is how it should be at a community college. You really can make a difference at this campus. I found my way at Rogue, Any time I felt worried about anything, an advisor was there to help me regain my focus and point out where I was on my college roadmap. It feels like getting your money's worth. The education in which you are investing your time and money in is invaluable, the experience is priceless. The things you'll learn, the people you'll meet, the help you'll receive, is all high quality and irreplaceable."

"For the most part, I enjoyed all of the classes I attended at RCC. It was nice to go there because the class ratio to teacher was smaller, so it creates more one and one if needed. The classes also had a large variety for a small community college. I was very grateful to go there, especially on scholarship, and finish my degree in one year rather than two."

"The classes and instructors are amazing! I think they were all really knowledgeable and willing to help. However, the administrative staff, ESPECIALLY in the financial aid department, are awful. Not only have they been very, very difficult to reach-you have to go down there, and then wait, (which if you work full time is completely inconvenient!) because it's next to impossible to get anyone on the phone. Most of the staff in the financial aid office have not been very knowledgeable about any financial aid questions I had, and to top it off, they're usually quite rude. This unfortunately reflects badly against the school as a whole, but like I said first, the instructors have all been first rate, so if you can deal with the staff, go for it!"
