"Rowan was a great community, with caring professors. Staff was available when you needed them and there was always an event to attend."

"My review of the Master of Writing Arts program at Rowan University may sound contradictory. I found value in the school and its program, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to strengthen his or her writing. However, the program has many deficiencies. Let me start by saying that anything in life has value, depending on the value you place upon it. With that said, the MAWR has a poor selection of faculty, very few of whom are published writers. This is important because, though the program claims to be multi-genre, the faculty focuses mostly on academic research writing. If you are a creative writer, as I am, you will be given a limited amount of writerly tools that you must find a way to employ on your own. Because the faculty doesn't seem to be that interested in creative work, you will have to be a self-starter and take what you learn to improve your skills. The program also has a low standard of quality, so it will be up to you to discover your own standards and hold steadfastly to them. I will conclude by saying that I don't regret my decision to attend Rowan, but I am moving onto an MFA program, partly because Rowan didn't give me all that I need to succeed."

"I enjoyed all my professors and they all had a very good understanding of the subject matter. Also the campus life was very enjoyable. I usually suggest Rowan to all my friends thinking about going to school for public relations."

"The school was fine, i learned a lot and there were always things to do around campus, but I got very little help for post college job searches. I still do not have a job in my field."

"I completely enjoyed my 4 years at Rowan University. Challenging program, helpful/caring/knowledgeable professors. Great programs from sports, clubs to the great Rec Center. They helped place me in an internship which offered me an immediate employment opportunity upon graduating. Which gave me options when applying for a great job I took in central jersey. 10/10 would do again."

"Rowan was a great place for me. Its a medium campus, so you can still walk everywhere without knowing everyone who goes there. Most of my professors were great and i had some amazing experiences there. I would recommend looking into study abroad. The downside is that the advisors are not all helpful."

"Rowan University School of Biomedical Sciences was an amazing graduate experience. I honestly have only praises for this school. I feel that the courses were conducted at the highest levels, and the professors were engaging and helpful. I was able to take Medical School courses with the Medical Students as part of my Masters Degree, and this was invaluable and a great experience. Receiving my Masters at this school afforded me not only a Masters Degree level education, but challenged me to a Medical School Graduate level and I was very grateful for this. I left Rowan University School of Biomedical Sciences knowing I received the best education out there."

"Rowan University is conveniently located on 322, between my home in NJ and my job as an analytical chemist in PA. Their program has knowledgeable enrollment aids along with a guided track for my intended program of a M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences."

"The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Rowan University provides a great balance of competitiveness and exposure to graduate level science education. I appreciate the vast opportunities the program provides towards research, extracurricular health-related organizations, and familiarity of the osteopathic medical education. The professors are well-educated and very approachable. Also, the majority students who enter the program are of similar educational backgrounds. Though the program provides limited health professional advising, the deans and the administrative office staff are extremely welcoming."

"Rowan University is a great school. The campus is beautiful and in a great location. The school continues to grow and there was a lot of new stuff being built when I left in 2013. My professors were all knowledgeable and helpful and the campus has resources for anything you might need. I was a commuter and most of my classes were in the evening so I had no problem with parking, but I did hear it was tough to find a spot earlier in the day. I would recommend Rowan to anyone; it was a wonderful experience for me."

"This graduate program will help you get the upper level sciences experience needed to aid in your eventual application to a medical school. It seems a little bias in that it is on a DO campus, so it does not give much information about MD medical programs. The classes are fair. However, it is lacking in its ability to advise students on what the next steps are and the student networking opportunities are sub-par as well."

"My graduate program is very hands-on and interactive. It really prepares you for working in your chosen field. The instructors are accessible, approachable and knowledgeable. The only downside is that there is not much diversity in the student population."

"A really good hands-on program. Instructor s are readily available and willing to assist. Good, safe environment and neighbourhood. However, not enough diversity or housing options. Housing is expensive."
