"I was the first graduating class for the DPT program. They have worked hard to provide quality educators both clinically and academically. It is a well rounded program that provides students with the knowledge they need to become entry level Doctors of Physical Therapy immediately."

"Dr. R. is the Director of the PT program and is filled with a vast amount of knowledge that will help any prospective student planning to become a physical therapist. The program is extremely focused on evidence based research which will allow PTs to practice with the ethical imperative of treating patients based on sound research. Only 7% of applicants are chosen for this program so make sure that you do your best to get in because it is well worth it when you become a leading PT in your field thanks to SDSU and its' program."

"SDSU is diverse and has something for everyone. The quality of my doctoral program was outstanding and I can't recommend it highly enough."

"SDSU's DPT program has professors that are experts in their respective fields. The Director of Clinical Education (who will be responsible for placing you in your clinical affiliations) is one of the most well-connected people in the San Diego (maybe even California) physical therapy world. Living in San Diego is expensive, but there are ways to make it very affordable and many classmates live together. Public transportation is outstanding to and from SDSU. Finally, several physical therapists have commented about the overall higher quality of students coming from SDSU's DPT program. All in all, I never expected to get such an incredible experience and education from a public school that's charging a fraction of the tuition of other schools in the area."

"Any DPT program will be a heavy workload and very difficulty. The faculty at SDSU is amazing and goes above and beyond to ensure both a great experience and an incredible education. It's a new program, so there are learning experiences for all, but there has not been a single moment when I doubted that this was the perfect program for me. I love the research focus and I feel that I'm involved in important research here."
