The Director of Clinical Education (who will be responsible for placing you in your clinical affiliations) is one of the most well-connected people in the San Diego (maybe even California) physical therapy world. Living in San Diego is expensive, but there are ways to make it very affordable and many classmates live together. Public transportation is outstanding to and from SDSU. Finally, several physical therapists have commented about the overall higher quality of students coming from SDSU's DPT program. All in all, I never expected to get such an incredible experience and education from a public school that's charging a fraction of the tuition of other schools in the area."
