"The accounting program prepares you for your career and the CPA exam. For the most part, the professors are very knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. Santa Clara has a great recruiting system that includes the Big 4 and smaller firms as well. They really help you out in terms of finding a job to starting your career."

"This was the perfect, well rounded core education for me. My time at SCU prepared me for my success in my graduate degree and gave me the skills I need to communicate my ideas to people in my industry."

"College was helpful in learning how to manage your time and be proactive but I don't feel like Santa Clara was helpful for my career path, specifically for Psychology."

"Santa Clara has an amazing reputation as a Bay Area school. The MFT program is one of the best and I feel very fortunate to be a part of such an prestigious program. Some classes have a much higher workload than others but professors do their best to be transparent about class expectations."

"This is a private school and it is very expensive! The workload is manageable if you work part time and enroll full time. Living in the nearby area is beyond expensive as well but if you go to the surrounding cities you can find cheaper living. I love the school, the faculty care about you and get to know you personally if you allow them to. I can't complain, I just could really use grants or scholarships instead of the loans I currently take out for my education."

"The counseling psychology program has the option of taking the 56 unit program geared towards transferring to a Ph.D program, the 90 unit program enables you to become licensed at a Marriage and Family Therapist and/or a Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. The professors and quality of education is outstanding. The program goes above and beyond to support student's development, personal process, practicum experience, and path towards licensure. Although the program has some ways to go in regards to having a more diverse community of students at the undergrad and graduate level; the counseling psychology program is committed and intentionally seeking talented students from diverse backgrounds and circumstances."

"It gets good ratings, but I don't feel like my school has helped my career at all. I wouldn't say it's worth the money. Could've spent way less for the same result."

"The program is definitely strong with ample support from the school and faculty. Being in the Bay Area, the Silicon Valley to be specific, is very beneficial for career opportunities. The only downside is the expense, but that is to be expected with a private institution. Overall, it was a wonderful experience as a undergraduate and graduate student."

"My school and graduate program has an excellent reputation in the San Francisco Bay Area. I expect to easily get a job after graduating from this program. Overall I feel very prepared to enter into the teaching profession as a full time teacher next year. However, this program is quite expensive. While I do feel prepared to be a teacher, I am leaving Santa Clara University with an excessive amount of student loan debt. It will take me over 10 years of teaching to fully pay off my debts."

"The SCU grad school experience has been an amazing one. I have had amazing professors who are able to connect our coursework to our lives and integrate education. They are supportive and willing to work together with students to help us thrive and succeed in such a competitive academic environment."

"Tenure and some adjunct professors are very knowledgable, accessible, and straightforward when they state their expectations. Some adjunct professors, however, find a reason to discuss their research rather than discuss what is relevant to the class. It depends who the professor is and what they are teaching. Classes are somewhat competitive to get into as each individual goes their own pace. However, the department was kind enough to offer more sections to classes that students need."

"I like that Santa Clara University is a small, private school. I feel that the class sizes are perfect and efficient; each class has a decent amount of students. For example, the smallest class I have taken has had seven students in total. An advantage to a small class size is that there is more opportunity for one-on-one with the professors. I find it helpful to have one-on-one with the professors because it enables one to connect and feel comfortable approaching them. Most of the professors offer office hours and scheduled meetings to talk with their students about the class and any struggles or questions one may have."

"I am enrolled in a hybrid program through my school district. The flexibility to meet at off campus locations was a factor in deciding to attend this program."
