"The psychology program has many wonderful teachers. Teachers that are willing to help you with school, degree planning and more. The campus is beautiful. It close to San Fransisco, which is nice. The best part is the dorms, I have been spoiled with these dorm rooms."

"The professors fuse the theoretical foundation and practical application of the study seamlessly. For those engaged and enticed by the theoretical aspect of Public Administration but still need practical application for potential work, this program offers both. We address real world problems and submitted policy proposals to government. Each class and program is catered to addressing pertinent problems that emerge through the policy window. Also there is always support. You engage with colleagues who are both competing with you in submitting a top proposal, but still offer their support and insight. It is a small program, but by far one of the best I have ever been a part of."

"The program is small, you get to know your peers and teachers...however, it is a very narrow view and set of ideas from the professors. It is sometimes difficult to work with them, because they are busy. Overall the workload was moderate"

"Sonoma State offers a cohort type of MBA program which helps create a strong network. Students are willing to help one another and want to see everyone succeed. Professors are okay and the work load is manageable with a full time job however expect to have little time for a social life. Overall I would recommend this school to anyone in the area or who is interested in wine."

"Sonoma State is a great graduate school and has a terrific undergraduate program as well. The staff and students are very friendly, open and helpful. The campus is beautiful and offers a great environment for learning indoors and out. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers a variety of things for students to do while being reasonably priced and close to the city of San Francisco."

"Pros: The faculty is committed and competent. The program prepares for a career in counseling. The program is very hands on and we begin counseling undergrads in our 2nd semester. There is a fair amount of self exploration required however it doesnt get to out there like some programs. Cons: There is not very much funding for the program and out of state tuition is much more than in state tuition. There is not very much diversity within the program or at Sonoma State University, in general."

"Sonoma offers a lot of support for its graduate students. It is not a large university so you have to work a little harder for funding. However it has access and collaborations with other larger more research oriented universities which are extremely helpful."

"This education program offers access to professors who are experts in their field. The classes that are required fully cover every aspect of how to be a effective teacher. They offer a choice of program length, either two semesters or three semesters, which is helpful for those who need to work while getting their credential. I am in the two semester program and the workload is big but manageable because the professors know how to vary it. The professors are available pretty much any time of day, and are relatable and understanding. I would suggest this program to anyone who wants to be an effective teacher."
