My college is filled with spirit that will be with you beyond your degree. The professors are dedicated to helping each student graduate.

Southern is a great school for an ambitious student. Less ambitious students can potentially get lost in their programs. The registration process is a bit frustrating until you have done it a couple of times. The engineering program, while challenging, left us wanting when it came to real world application, labs, and licensing prep.

Great school that provided a great experience. I wouldn't have chosen any other institution. Southern University faculty and staff Are like family. The history department is extremely close knit and assisted me and other students in every way. I love my HBCU.

Excellent University, great staff Great athletics, and has the best band in the world The Human Jukebox!!! Great atmosphere great student to faculty ratio. The students at the University are very enthused to attend here. The University stands alone to be a Prestigious HBCU.
