St John's University-New York Reviews
Student & Graduate Reviews (6)
I enjoyed the college experience classes were small and teachers were thoughtful. I really enjoyed the sorority that I was a part of.
An unforgettable experience, good teachers , excellent learning system , excellent techniques work both theory and practice.
St. John's University is the only pharmacy school which allows PharmD students to study abroad for an entire semester! The location is great - just a short trip into New York City. The student body is very diverse and there are a myriad of extracurricular activities to participate in.
My St. John's experience was an awesome one. The faculty and staff were extremely helpful throughout my four years of study. I was able to make the best of my experience through becoming very active in student orgs and eventually served on several Executive Boards of those organizations. I had a very difficult experience during my freshman year that made me feel I would have to leave school, and my grade advisor went above and beyond in ensuring that I received all of the assistance I needed to move beyond my personal traumas and achieve my academic goal. For the school to be so large in student population, the administration really took time out to get to know me, and that was definitely an important factor for me. I would absolutely recommend my alma mater to anyone.
Small class sizes, and thoughtful professors create a unique experience not found in the larger, more urban university settings.
It was and it wasn't a great choice. It allowed me to learn independence, but I probably could have got a better education from a cheaper school.
Yes, it is broad enough to encompass a rangeof careers that allowed me wiggle room in finding a job.
Enjoy college to the fullest, but have a plan for your life and career before graduation comes because the real world is no joke.
