"State Fair Community College is a great school for students to get a feel of college. What I really loved about attending there is that the campus was a smaller one, but I still got the feel of what college is like. It's great for people who are intimidated by bigger colleges like Mizzou, and really just want to dip their toes in the water and figure out exactly how college works. When I attended this school, I was a single mother who was extremely busy trying to balance full time school as well as work and a home life, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved the Trio program, which the advisers in that program really are extremely wonderful, fantastic, helpful, I-can't-say-enough-good-things-about-them people. I really don't know if I would have graduated or figured out to college without them. State Fair Community College also has a great art program for a two year school. All of the instructors are nice and encouraging, and really do help you develop great skills. I took a variety of classes, everything from twelve week classes, to two week classes, from seven am in the morning up to nine pm at night, as well as online classes, and all classes were accommodating and teachers were very helpful. The library even has a tutoring lab, with a professional Math and English tutor that are there almost everyday of the week and are FREE!! This school is a great school if you are looking for something that is affordable, accredited, and has helpful staff to figure out your degree. The only problem that I ever had at this school is that I was a little disappointed with was the gym. It was a bit small, even for the size of the school, and it did not have very good hours. But that is an extremely small and irrelevant reason to not go to this school. Overall, State Fair is a great school, and I am proud to have competed a degree there."
