"I have not had a single good experience with this university. Every single department I have had to deal with has either provided me with incorrect information or is unwilling to work with me. When I first enrolled as a transferred students my advisor try to tell me I needed to repeat classes I had already taken. Even though I had transcripts showing I already completed the courses. They had absolutely no answers for me it took me 3 months and talking to multiple people to discover the admissions department failed to scan in all of my transcripts that were sent to them. Since they failed to load all of my classes in it had me listed as a sophomore rather than a senior which impacted my financial aid dramatically and it took months for them to fix. I left over 10 voicemails for the financial aid department and no one ever called me back I had to call the business office and someone had to go walk to the department to tell them to call me. When Covid-19 happen and states began to lock down in the summer semester of 2020. We were advised that all of our course for the fall would be held online and we would not be going on campus. I called the university to confirm as I suffer from PTSD and mask can cause panic attacks for me. The man that I spoke to was extremely rude and mocked me as if I didn't want to wear a mask I explained to him AGAIN I cannot wear one due to a medical condition. He stated that all I would need was a copy of my medical records showing proof of my diagnosis after paying to obtain those records I called back to find out that it was incorrect I would actually need a letter from my doctor. Since my classes were going to be held online in fall and I had no plans of going on campus at all I figured I would be fine. At the start of the fall one of my professors had an assignment where we would need to go on campus for an assignment. I immediately reached out to her and explained the situation at hand. I asked if there was an alternative assignment I could complete or if I could complete the requested assignment off campus. She advise I could not do either one. I even went as far as to see if I could take this course at another university that is strictly online. She advise that they usually do not meet the requirements to be transferable. Since I was from out of state I contacted my doctor in my home state immediately to see if he would be able to provide the requested letter the university needed to provide me a face mask exception. He stated since of I was out of state he would not be able to as I would not be considered an established patient anymore. I then called over 10 doctors in the Killeen, Harker Heights, Temple, Waco area all of which stated they would be willing to see me but since I am not an "established patient" they would have to see me multiple times before they could write me the requested letter. The Anxiety and panic attacks that this has cause is extremely overwhelming and the University simply does not care. This semester has brought on a whole new challenge of professors not responding to e-mail, no organizations, work not return to us in a timely manner to ensure we are doing it correctly. If I have ever regretted spending money it would be spending it here at this university they have absolute no care for their students and simply only doing what they can to stay open."

"I think Texas A&M University is great school. The campus is beautiful and the student body is amazing. There are a million ways to get connected at this school, so while the university is very large, it doesn't always feel that way once you've found your "spot". There are always organizations to join, charities to help, study groups, etc. There's a saying - "From the outside looking in, you can't understand it; From the inside looking out, you can't explain it." That's a very true statement. It's amazing to have been out of school for almost a decade and still have strangers talk to me about their years at A&M when they see my Aggie ring."

"It was inexpensive, but PPA students take precedence over Masters students when it comes to hiring for internships or jobs. The job fair is fairly large. You also meet a lot of people, and there are quite a few extracurricular activities. The bus system is fairly good unless you're staying for the holidays."

"A&M is a great large school with everything that is available to it, like world class speakers, the arts, athletics (both watching and participating), and high class academics. It is certainly one of the more odd college environments, in terms of the ferocity of loyalty, but it is something that can either be fully embraced or avoided at all costs, depending on your interests. The benefit of such a large school is that there are all sorts of people."

"The pros are the professors are extremely helpful, they are very supportive and do their best to ensure a student is on the right track. The cons are the school is revamping the counseling program; therefore it makes it a bit difficult for new graduate students to find out if they are fully accepted into the program. The process is a bit unbalanced and time consuming."
