"The Nautical Archaeology Program at Texas A&M is the best in the nation. I highly recommend the school for its high academic rating and quality of education. However, the surrounding areas do not offer a lot to do and the social life of students is also poor. In short, this is a good university to study at, but you may become bored of the place very quickly."

"The A&M is a very competitive university especially in Science and engineering. Faculties here are outstanding in academics and always ready to help us students."

"The college of liberal arts & humanities provides an unparalleled level of support for graduate and professional students. Opportunities for career advancement such as research assistantships are abundant. Evans is arguably the best research library in the United States. While College Station lacks personality at times, the town has everything students need, including plenty of places to eat or grab a drink with friends and colleagues."

"College Station is a mediocre place to live with little more to offer than chain stores and strip malls. My department within the university is competitive and well respected."

"Texas A&M is one of the top public education system with top-notched research facilities and faculty. The most recent rank (Washington Monthly Poll) Texas A&M is No.2 nationwide university. Texas A&M is very competitive at all sorts of sports, to name a few, football, soccer and basketball, etc. Campus food service is so so with some venting machines, and dinning hall is mostly used for undergrads and a little pricy. It is difficult to rent university apartment, and parking can be expensive, but there are lots of good housing within a mile from campus. I have never heard about any safety concern on campus even at night. The facilities are very well maintained, but some departments are better than the others. There are lots of clubs open to all students, and some social events can be helpful for grad students, including different religions and ethics and hobbies. Bryan is close to College Station, and Houston, Austin and San Antonio are not far away. Transit service covers most parts of the town, even Bryan, runs great during semester, but low in the summer and winter break. People in Bryan and College Station are very laid back and nice."

"Texas A&M is a good place for studying, especially for Science and Engineering majors. Unfortunately, there are not so many interesting places nearby the campus. Those who like big cities with a lot of restaurants and entertaining facilities might find College Station somewhat boring."

"Texas A&M has one of the most welcoming student bodies I've seen on a college campus. You're one of almost 50,000 students, but it doesn't take long to feel at home and make friends."

"I'm in the NAP program at TAMU which is known as one of the best in the world, so I can't vouch for the other programs, but mine has some of the best minds in my field. TAMU has a free bus system that runs all over college station and bryan which is super handy it runs every eight minutes so you're never late to class. But this school is in the middle of nowhere so you should really have a car. If you want a good career I recommend TAMU because Aggies help Aggies (so job placement is easier) but also TAMU has relationships with heavy hitting groups like Pixar and INA, just to name some."

"Texas A&M is one of the best universities I attended, I studied at Baku State University, The University of Nottingham, had an interview at The University of Oxford, University of Bath, Uiversity of Nottingham (and have been accepted to PhD progam). But so far I can evaluate Texas A&M University as the best university I've ever seen."
