"This college is a joke. I spent $29,000 on a certificate, when you no longer need a certificate to get a LMRT job. It's a scam!!! Go somewhere else and get a degree. Look up NCT in Texas. Any Dr. can train you to be a LMRT. No need for school. The turn over is ridiculous!! People leave and new people come in. Trust me, do not attend this school. They career services helps place you but since they only need you in a job site for a few weeks you will be let go so someone else can be placed there and their numbers are always high. All a scam. The PTT students can't get jobs and the MA students pay like $20,000 just to end up getting paid $10 an hour."

"I would not recommend The College of Health Care Professions in Austin, TX. I think the instructor was a loser growing up who had no friends & wanted his students to be his friends so bad. Couldn't even finish my schooling. Don't waste your time or money."

"Save your money ...the program is unorganized. You do NOT learn what you need to know to pass the Mblex. Students here are taking it 2 or 3 times because the correct information is not taught. The rules change everyday too. You get yelled at by instructors and program directors for stuff every day. There is a very negative vibe all around the school. You will have many instructors who teach things completely contradictory. Teachers never stay long here. If you want proper training do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!"

"I withdrew from the school and was supposed to receive a letter on how much I owed. Got no letter and now can't get my transcripts because I owe $4k. They basically lied about sending a letter. Don't go to this school! They only want your money!!!!!!"

"Beware! Do not spend your money on this school!!! Unorganized, poor staff, and all they care about is the money! They don't care about the students If they don't like a student then they do everything they can to run them out. They don't have a good reputation or clinical sites to offer the students. Go to a accredited school that is respected!"

"I am currently in the LMRT program at the Dallas campus. The program has been going well so far but the teacher turnaround rate is high. When I first started they, they were so unclear as to the bridging program to a full RT and said don't worry about it. Right now I AM SITING IN A FULL CLASS AND THE TEACHER HAS NOT SHOWN UP. IT HAS BEEN OVER 1 HOUR. I also just found out that they only offer the bridging program at the Austin and Huston campus and we would have to move there if we want to bridge. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Every time the student body had asked about this they would have no idea and say they would get more information and get back to us. I JOINED THIS SCHOOL SO I CAN BECOME A FULL RT. The turnover rate for teachers are high, the education is poor, they read from the book, and there are more bad things to say than good. If you are considering coming here, DON'T!! Save your money and go somewhere else."

"The instructor made me feel unsafe in the classroom & school building since all the workers where on his side. The instructor was very unprofessional. As a result I ended up leaving. It was a waste of time & money. I would not recommend The College of Health Care Professions what use to be called The Academy of Health Care Professions. Now I have found my career in a professional field where I work with many successful people."

"*BEWARE* If you are interested in a school that will lie to your face, cheat you out of a good education, and steal your money, the CHCP Austin campus is the school for you! We have had to endure four teachers within a six month period, none of which have taught us. The accepted method of "teaching" is reading through slides and sections of the chapters word for word, mispronouncing words (both basic English and medial terminology) left & right, not going over the assigned homework so that you know what is incorrect and how to find the correct answer, no direction, assigning workbook/computer assignments without even going over the corresponding chapter, etc., etc., I go could on and on... On three separate occasions the books we needed were on back order, one book we did not receive until the 4th week of the MOD. Each MOD is 5 weeks, so we did not learn anything that we were supposed to be taught for that subject. We did not receive our coding books until a week after the MOD began, but we were given homework assignments with no book to use. We have taught ourselves what will be asked of us upon entering the field. God willing, we have taught ourselves correctly. We have spoken to the Director of Education and the Campus President on numerous occasions regarding the issues but nothing has changed nor does it appear that they are concerned. The classroom has a damaged dry erase board that can not be used at all, the chairs are extremely uncomfortable, the tables in the lunch room have fallen on several occasions but they have money to purchase new signs to put throughout the halls so that they can present themselves in a better way while giving prospective students a tour of the campus. The majority of what we were told from the advisors has been false! The solution that was presented to us is that they would give us an Assessment Test to determine what areas we are lacking in and then add those into the review classes during our externship period which is every Friday for 5 weeks, so a total of 5 days to provide us with the education that was promised to us and should have been received during the correct previous MOD's as well as preparing us for our certification exams. We have taken the Assessment Tests (we were told that it would be one customized test but it ended up being 3 tests which took us 2 days, a total of 12 hours to not even fully finish) 3 weeks ago and we still have not received the results back. Our review class is due to start in 2 weeks. There is only 5 tests! This has been an extremely stressful situation that has caused us to lose our faith, drive, and thousands of dollars! Please take my advice and look into other schools before choosing CHCP. No one deserves what we have to experience!"

"If possible, there wouldn't be any stars selected. Unfortunately I did not do my research on this school prior to signing the $17k contract. Needless to say, I've regretted it ever since. It's even more unfortunate that I'm still currently enrolled in the MCB/HIT program. I've been through 4 teachers thus far (due to them resigning), I'm due to begin externship within these next few weeks; I'm nowhere near prepared for an extern assignment. Most mods are a repeat of the previous mod, there's very little "coding" going on within the classroom. My first teacher yelled at me just before locking me in a classroom because I wouldn't take a quiz home to complete outside of class. The second teacher sent us to lunch, then turned in her keys without notice, we returned to find a random teacher sitting in our classroom. It's unclear why that teacher left, but she left without grading any of our assignments so we were given "completion grades"; no one is clear on what our grades would have actually been. Needless to say, we do not know what we need to focus our studying on. The 3rd instructor was awesome; however, I believe the school gave very little incentive to retain her. As we reviewed the syllabus with the 3rd instructor she was shocked that we were so far behind given the amount of time we've been in school. Complaining to "directors" is like talking to a brick wall. Oh, they listen & take notes...everyone I've complained to has taken notes but nothing has been done to rectify the lack of proper training, sacrifices, wasted time & money shelled out to this school. Every complaint is followed up with the promise that things will get better, as of yet, NOTHING has been resolved. An "assessment" was given 2 weeks ago to gauge our knowledge-there are 5 people in our class-yet the school is still trying to gather our results? Long story short, they're waiting on us to either dropout or graduate so the problem will go away. I can't remember the last time we've been offered the opportunity to give an end of mod review; so here's my review, CHCP! I've complained to both the Director of Education AND the Campus President-even the corporate office; as of yet there has been no progress and definitely no follow up. Do not waste your time or money at this school! I hope this helps those interested in enrolling, do yourself a favor and keep looking...this isn't the place for a serious student."

"As a whole the campus was dysfunctional. A representative enrolled my friend and I with a fake diploma. The information given was a lie the only thing that was correct was the money I still have to pay as of today. Please don't waste you time or money here. PIMA is a better choice period."

"I am currently a Junior LMRT degree student at CHCP~ Fort Worth, and am actively pursuing a second career, as I am an "older' student. I had the traditional College experience while earning my first degree, however, with dedicated support staff, small class sizes and the highly personalized instruction offered at CHCP, I have found this "second time" to be a wonderfully fulfilling experience. The level of sharing and caring on this Campus has proven to be most beneficial to my over all learning and educational experience! I have to truly say that CHCP~ (Fort Worth) has MANY highly qualified, skilled and caring instructors. I am excited and very much looking forward to this new chapter in my life. With the quality of learning available, adding to the level of my education; combined with the technical skills I am continually gaining....I can clearly see a wonderful career ahead of me. CHCP~ Fort Worth is THE place to get a great start, or( in my case) start again!"

"The College of Health Care Professions is a great school. My time there was great the administration does a great job at listening to what is going on at the school and the program is awesome. The teachers are very knowledgeable in the subjects that they teach and most take the time to make sure you understand and comprehend what the subject is about. I would go back."

"I graduated this past summer from this school, and I couldn't be more happier. I found a job instantly after my externship finished. I now work at an OB/GYN, my dream job! I love my job. Without the help from my instructors and externship coordinator, I wouldn't have my dream job. Thanks for everything."

"This place is a joke. I wish I had read these reviews before I found out the hard way. I am a Veteran. I am fully independent and I had already done my Fasfa through Rosa and Nancy. Everything went smoothly (so I thought). I got a phone call 3 hours before my first day of night classes with them saying that none of my information went through, that I am considered a dependent student and that they need my parents information. Not happening. I go forth to call the Fasfa 1-800 number to get this resolved and their story is completely different than what Nancy is telling me. Come to find out, N. did not turn in the paperwork needed to prove that I am an independent student. But instead of admitting Her wrongs, she persisted to yell and scream at me (let me remind you, this is financial aid at CHCP) saying that I was very wrong. She then decides to tell me that the only way I can attend school is if I oag $936/month WHILE I AM IN SCHOOL or I will not be able to attend. Nancy has changed her story multiple times and told me that it's not her problem when I expressed my concerns to her about my future. If you do not have $20000 cash ready to hand out, do not come to this school. I think it's funny that they talk about professionalism and customer service and this school lacks in those categories very much. Now the campus president (Gerald) doesn't seem too bad. He seems like he's on my side about this, but instead of admitting that they messed up, he's trying to make it seem like he's going above and beyond to handle this. Which shouldn't be the case. I really do not recommend this school at all unless you have $20000 to give these people. It's a money game."

"I am currently still in school during the entire time it was a high turnover for the staff from presidents to teachers, then we didnt have the proper instructors that was needed I attended night class and now we are out for externship and have no sites or MA sites doing MA work and some of my classmates got here and had to drop the program due to no available sites so they lost valuable time and $$$$ its like they were not pepared for us to go out on externship then they lied and said they would find us extern sites for the evening because alot of us worked in the day time that was a lie, like others have said there are NO LMRT jobs you will have to apply for a MA job with this title. Now Im here trying to do my externship at site they placed me in but its not working because I dont have anything to do I dont want a MA job, and like another person said when they see staff trying to work and help you out far as scheduling this sites or anything you look up and they are gone Im just frustated now"

"I am so disgusted with this school. They lie and cheat there students. The clinical instructor and director are just don't know what the hell is going on and the program changes every hour. Most if what you learn is on your own. The staff can not be trusted and the quality teachers they run off. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL END UP OUT OF MONEY AND FRUSTRATED........"

"I am writing this review to warn people not to go to this school. I started the program for DMU back in may '13. Worst decision ever! I only went to school for a month and still had to pay about close to three thousand dollars. the teachers didn't even go to school for what they were trying to teach us. they had a spaz science teacher trying to teach us English. They had a high school biology teacher trying to teach us physics. Want to know what I learned? NOTHING! They were so disorganized. They did not have a set teaching plan. Even the director was leaving because the program was so bad. Doesn't that tell you anything. If you plan on going to this school I really hope your loaded with money because that is all they care about. please do your research and look for a different school that'll give you your money's worth."
