"The question asked before we write a review is. “Overall are you satisfied with the impact this education had on your career”. This school was a waste of money and a waste of time. Do not bother paying for these courses. Their were complaints since 2019 before the pandemic. If you want to sign up I suggest you test the colleges number and try to speak to someone as if you were a student who needed transcripts for a class you completed. I promise you, you’ll see the horror students of this program deal with. Phone tag, email tag, vague responses, miscommunication, lack of help, lack of proper files. I signed up for two courses, I completed one 501 with amy K and received an A- The other class was late on what materials to have, and was not communicating with the students, I withdrew. As a substitute teacher you need certain credits to continue teaching, I regret wasting the precious time trying to obtain 6 credits over a year, they made it impossible. They recently sent me my transcripts for the class I withdrew from instead of the 501 class with amy K that I completed and received an A- in. They say they have no record of it. Please keep searching idk what school I’ll pick next but when it seems to good to be true it is. They are accepting money and down payment for spots in virtual classrooms but hardly get back to emails sent and messages left on the phone, when they get back it’s a cycle of nausea because it’s like they don’t know what your talking about. So frustrating! Save your time and money!"

"The CITE program is horrible. While some of the professors are great, the program itself is terrible. The man running it is a narcissistic bastard who will say anything to get your money and then his staff will tell you tough luck that's not the way things are done. The St. Rose employees also do not care. It is a money grab for them and they wash their hands of all responsibility. Go to Stony Brook instead."

"Saint Rose has greatly helped shape who I am as a person. With the unbelievable support I received from advisors to professors is the main reason I was able to walk across that stage in May 2018. The business program is pretty new and has had a lot of growth and popularity in the last couple of years. New programs are constantly being introduced and are followed with incentives such as scholarships and more opportunities to strengthen the degree that you are currently enrolled in. Class sizes are typically 20-25 students which is great If you are looking for more of a one on one teaching method. Professors will know you by name and will be able to easily keep track of your performance in your current classes."

"Been at the college for 3 years and was a transfer student with an associates degree. I was stuggling in a program i was currently in and decided to switch after taking courses for the program i switched into I was told I only had 2 courses left to graduate. Then was emailed later on and was told I need 10 courses before I could graduate. Everytime I went to admission or other places no one could give me a solid answer. The offices that I talked with did not know rules of certain programs. The catalog changes often too. I was on a 2014-2015 catalog and now randomly switched to 2017-2018."

"The College of Saint Rose is an incredible school for up and coming Speech Language Pathologists. Im about to begin my final semester in my Undergrad, and Saint Roses faculty, on-campus clinic, and incredible professors made learning and growing as a student so impactful. One of the highest ranked Communication Sciences and Disorders schools in the country, The College of Saint Rose dedicates everything they have to your success as a student. I have been truly blessed to have received such an incredible Undergraduate experience from them, and would love to continue into their Graduate program. The College of Saint Rose is a fantastic school, and definitely deserves your attention."

"The College of Saint Rose is an excellent institution for a graduate program. The campus and class sizes are small which make for close relationships within cohorts and a strong academic/professional relationship between teachers and students. The teachers work carefully with their students to learn about strengths, weaknesses and interests in order to assist in a students academic and professional success. The relationships do not stop post graduation. There are groups available according to your major to help with future career goals. Leaving this institution, I was well prepared for my current employment. Compared to other institutions, this college focused heavily on the training needed for schools all over the nation by following the National goals to a T!"

"It was a nice campus in a city with lots to do. It offered many programs and at the time had an excellent program for School Psychology. It was not too big and had access to everything needed."

"The College of Saint Rose is a great choice for students that plan to commute. I wouldn't recommend it if you are going to stay on campus. Academics are excellent but advisement is lacking."

"Getting accepted into this program was a complete honor. Acceptance into a master's program is difficult and competitive, but Saint Rose took the time to interview potential candidates before looking at their applications. Now, in my first year of graduate school, I am getting prepped for working in the helping industry. Graduate school is a scary thought, but as long as you put in hard work and effort the professors will notice and you will succeed. The classes are stimulating and you will walk away with more knowledge than you thought you would."

"The College of Saint Rose is a small school, so by the end of your four years you'll know everyone on campus! It gives a great sense of community. It is unfortunate that the school is in Albany, NY. It's a dirty, boring city and there is hardly anything to do other than study, party, or go to the mall and spend money. I wouldn't recommend Albany itself, but I am glad that I went to Saint Rose (great Science program! Small, but growing!! And amazing, caring professors!) and I wouldn't change my decision if I could make it again."

"I enjoyed my experience overall, many of the professors are excellent educators and genuinely care about the students. My experience is not related to any school sponsored events, but the campus community is one that allows for a great number of smaller personally organized events and group activities."

"Overall, I feel supported by the faculty and the fellow students. The class sizes are small, which is nice, and teachers make an effort to meet the needs of its students by taking time to meet with us individually when necessary. I like how my professors make it easy for us to network with other professionals already in the field, and I feel like the program here does an excellent job with staying abreast with current research and school psychology best practices. The biggest downfall is expense, but that is to be expected when pursuing a graduate education, especially at a private school. It will be important to continually evaluate your commitment to the field, to ensure that school psychology is a right fit for you- because it is a demanding career, but it can also be extremely rewarding and satisfying!"

"This is a great program. The faculty is amazing and provide you with many different opportunities to learn and grow as a person and a professional. I wouldn't choose any other program. You do need a car and housing is not cheap in Albany, but it is worth it for a quality education."

"The CSD program has an amazing faculty, which is definitely the best part of my graduate experience. Not only are they knowledgeable in their respective areas, but they also care about you and make you feel like you can approach them for any help you need. The cost is reasonable compared to other private institutions. Financial aid is decent-they offer many Graduate Assistantships; however, this only covers a portion of tuition and can make it more difficult to get other aid. Overall, the students and faculty are very professional, and the Saint Rose CSD program is respected in the area. I am definitely happy with my decision to attend here."

"The program is pretty small, which provides individualized attention. It was pretty easy to get a graduate assistantship when I wanted one, but by taking that I was not allowed any other financial aid from the college (the assistantship covered a third of tuition only)."

"The College of Saint Rose music education program is a very small program, which definitely has its benefits. Very small class sizes provide a close, personalized education. There are many opportunities to perform and better your skills as a musician. Unfortunately, because of the small size of the program, there are not a lot of options. You are required to take electives, which is theory give you more control to your degree, but not many classes are offered. I have a graduate assistantship, and have difficulties in finding enough classes to be full time in order to keep it."
