"I had an unfortunate medical issue at the start of my program in the spring that created a series of challenges for me. I received no help and was so badly advised during this time. This led to a cascade of issues financially that I am still trying to clear up (after throwing away 2,000 dollars out of pocket) with my federal loans. I am now flourishing in the Purdue ABA program with professors that are realistic and compassionate. The Sage ABA program wastes a tremendous amount of your time and money. It will make you jump through hoops that are not required by the BACB and their expectations as a student are so unrealistic. If you have a life outside of this program, (children or a job) and can't give 200% of your life to them this is not the program for you. There are plenty other great ABA programs out there."

"My college is a private institute and my program is freely new, The class sizes are far. The professors are knowledgeable and what is not know they do not hesitate to find out for you. The school as a great atmosphere, the staff is helpful and professional and provide great service. Also the tuition is affordable and financial aid is available to those who qualify. However the graduate program do not provide scholarships to its students. Although the program Forensic Mental Health is new it is a growing program and is a awesome program. The program requires and consist of readings and writings. Most of the classes have personal and group projects as well as class discussions."

"The professor at the Sage Colleges are great. The food there is not the best nor is the freshmen dorms. The cost is really high the give some scholarships but most still find it hard to attend school because of financial aid. There are not a lot of activities in school but they are working on improving that."

"I attended SCA because they touted how "affordable" they are, which was true; until the final semester. They took away ALL grants and aid. I was stuck with the bill myself. I worked two jobs and went to school full time, it was hard but I did it. I spoke to other senor classmates and apparently I wasn't they only victim of this bizarre occurrence. Because of that, I left there with a horrible impression of the school that stuck. They were affordable, but only for so long, once you're in the door and committed, they'll earn that money back somehow. Don't expect to go to this school looking for a real "college experience" either, most of the student body are commuters who can't wait to get back off campus. I rarely heard of extra curriculars (besides sports) because not many people lived on campus. The professors were only so-so, the best professors taught at the far superior colleges around Albany. I had some good teachers, not great, and many bad ones as well. I'm not sure where else I would have gone but I do feel as though if I had another choice, I wish I would have taken it."

"Definitely attend however be smart about your major. Choose something that will get you a job such as engineering, nursing, etc. soft majors like English, political science, communications, etc are useless in the real world so don't waste your time or money."

"I thought that going to a college that was for women was the best choice I could make. I could focus on school and be around like minded individuals. It was a great experience and I hope other women give a great deal of thought to choosing a school like this."

"The Counseling and Community Psychology program at Sage is an excellent program that truly prepares you for a career in the field. The professors have amazing resumes and are a great support for you while you journey through your practicum and internship. There have been a lot of changes within the program the last few years that were somewhat difficult to deal with however, the result has been outstanding. They have really worked hard to design the program to fit all the needs of its students."

"Sage is a nice private school and could be considered affordable compared to other private schools in NY. Because Russell Sage College is a small school, it is quite easy to get help from the professors and other faculty staff. The campus is about a block long which it makes it almost impossible to ever be late to class (if you are a resident student). If you are a commuter, the size of the campus is also a great convenience because it is simple to find your way around. The school is becoming more diverse each year."

"Pros of the DPT program include small cohort sizes which allow for extensive instructor-student interaction and the opportunity for varied clinical educational opportunities. Cons include overall cost (program, texts, etc) and the lack of a 24hr study site or adequate individual study areas."

"The program is tough, as a graduate program should be it is after all a doctorate program. The area the school is located in is a not so good part of Troy and hard to get to in anything other than a car. There is no public transportation system and safety is an issue. Also there is almost no financial aid other than loans for the program but it will allow me to become gainfully employed. The campus is not at all handicap accessible and considering the program is for physical therapy that is somewhat laughable."

"Russell Sage college provides its students with the opportunity to learn at high levels. This in turn. prepares students for the real world. However, the cost of education is very expensive, and the surrounding areas does not feel safe."

"The graduate provides pertinent classroom knowledge towards the applicable degree. The professors are extremely knowledgeable in course materials and in the knowledge within the field. The professors offer great knowledge and support throughout your time at the program. The program not only allows a student to grow professionally and academically, but personally as well. There is also a great emphasis on ethics, which is crucial in our professional careers. I believe that there needs to be more focus on the progression of the students throughout the program, especially ensuring that they are on the correct track towards their year long internship."
