"After taking a five year break between high school and College I had no idea where I wanted to go. With finances being my main reason for the break, I needed to feel comfortable going to a school that would challenge me but also be affordable. Thomas Nelson did just that. I spent one semester at Hampton University to start my Pre-Pharm courses and the tuition was a lot, so I read up on the transfer qualifications between Thomas Nelson and the School of Pharmacy at Hampton. They were a perfect match. Thomas Nelson helped me focus on my education and not how I was going to pay for it. I'm getting the same knowledge and help that I was getting at Hampton. I'm finishing up my last year at Thomas Nelson, with my education paid in full, from grants, with a 3.4 GPA with the confidence that I will be ready and successful in Pharmacy School. Without Thomas Nelson, college would still be something that was too far out of reach for a young girl on her own, trying to make a better living. I'm so grateful for Community colleges and all they do to help make school a dream come true."
