16,040 price of school 50 admission fee 100 per month while in school 4,000 grants, which gets deducted from 16,000 (doesnt need to be paid back) 3,000 from financial aid

The counselors wont tell you about the monthly fees and admissions fee till they got you hooked and signing papers.

The instructor wouldnt care if you took off durning class for 30+mins to go get lunch when class is 4hrs long and u get 10min break for each hr. These students talk about nonsense, play music and talk on cell phones while the rest of the class is trying to work/study. I am definitely looking towards a community college.

Ok so I starting attending UEI for Medical Billing last Thursday 10/7/2010 and from the first day I knew it wasn't for me, but I figured I would give it a couple days to see how it went. All they really care about is your money! The teachers are very unprofessional and don't really care about giving you the best education for the money you are paying.

I was started at a Mod with students that have been there for a while and the teacher didn't even bother to go over any of the procedures or text books, she started teaching class and assigning homework and assignment like we already knew what was going on. When confronted about the situation she told us to just try it's ok if you get it wrong that's how your going to learn.....WHAT??? I'm not about to pay 16k so that I can be guessing what I'm doing!!! For that amount of money I expect more than what they are willing to offer. To make the story short here's what did it for me.... We had a guest today who is a former UEI student that just finished her internship and was hired.

When asked where she was hired she told us that it's a very small company that is just starting up and that this place didn't even have enough desk for them to work at. To top it all of she was asked how much she got hired at she told us that she was hired at $8 and hour and she was only hired part time 2 to 3 days a week. A second student came in and told us the same thing. What??!!!! You just paid UEI 16K and that's the best they could do??!!! No thanks! I'm surprised I didn't walk out right then and there. I'm canceling my contract first thing tomorrow morning.

I'm looking at going to Riverside Community College instead and getting a real education.

I attended this school last year in the Morrow, GA campus and I had 3.5 gpa however the teacher was seriously unprofessional!! And the staff were as unprofessional as they all get!! I am convinced the few people that left any good review must be paid to write good review and or they work there! All this school did was stick me with debt.....they are disgrace to society.....so if you are in Atlanta avoid this school like its a plague!!!!!

I had a problem at the van nuys campus. I think they should have a class action lawsuit filed against them. They bully the students both staff and teachers. if a teacher does'nt like you or is jealous of you will drop you for no reason and you are stuck with a bill. I am looking into attorneys now. Their staff is simply TOXIC the dean of students is uneducated.

All these comments are true! All this school wants is your money. The teachers are unprofessional, & once you graduate, you are on your OWN! They say they'll help you, but they DONT. UEI is the worst mistake I've ever made. I was better off before attending. Graduation= No job & a 14000 debt!!! Go to a community college, & get your self a REAL education without having to pay thousands.!!!! I wish someone would have told me this.

Im in medical assisting class and my teacher is wonderful. My teacher is a doctor form over sea. She has been a doctor over 10 years from where she come from. She listen to us and go into detail on when are in lab. She make sure that we know what to do and ask alot of questions. I think the campus in morrow, ga is a great school..
