Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

I am a UMA alumni twice. My first degree in MAA & PhT. 2014/2015. It's the best online college that I will recommend to anyone. You work at your own pace with no rush unless you put thst on yourself. They never gave up on me when I wanted to give in. They called me to see if I am doing well with my classes and when I needed one on one tutorial they were available. There are so many tools that UMA provides and they have added so many more. You will have a lot of support system and they are a accredited school as well to get your bachelor. When you graduate they make sure you have the education you need to be successful. They help you land a job and believe me it will take time but you will have a job that's 100% guaranteed. My coaches, instructors, advisors on web application specialist work very closely with you. There are many more and they know who they are. Thank you UMA for standing by my side and helping me through my hard times and not giving up on me.

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2016

It was very easy to get started. They called me and I found out that my program could be covered by grants and a student loan. I spoke with admissions just 3 weeks before my class started on 9-7-15. I am still currently in my program, graduating in June. The process was very easy, got my books via UPS just a week before school started. The helped me start off with success. I love this school. A lot of the student comments that I have seen say that you get what you put in. It is totally true. I give 100% in all my classes and I am currently on the Dean's List. I have never been on the Dean's list before and it is very exciting. Having an honor like that will definitely give me confidence when I go job hunting. The only thing I can say is that there was some shortage of communication in regards to getting new books for my next course. Other than that, great school and staff.

Waste of my time and money! Told me I should move where the jobs are, cause I don't live near a major city! Told me my husband should quit his job so we can move to the city, not going to happen! Should have never done this school should have done one that I have actually heard of! Now, calling and harassing friends and family! So uncalled for!!

Degree: Medical Assistant
Graduation Year: 2016

I have also been scammed by this school they called me a billion times at first, I got emails and things from them . I had ask 2 months ago about my student loan I was told I had extra I signed for them to send it to me now they claim it aint there and it takes weeks to request it. So I ask why tell me this is what is left after school and is mine if I want it. But in same breath when I ask how they have the right to tell me when I get what is mine or how they choose what an when you get anything if they not paying it back. I feel this school is a TOTAL SCAM I am going to apply for another school an get my loan put torward a school that is actually heard of before.

I love UMA!! I recommend this school to anyone! They don't leave you alone in the dust. They are always a phone call or email away. I never had felt so close to my school as this one and they are almost 600 miles from me!! I take online courses through them and I love it. They have many different resources you can choose from if you ever need any help. They even have people that will proof-read your papers! They will work with you financially and keep you updated on everything. I absolutely love this school and hope if you are planning on going back to school, that you give this one a chance!!

I want to say that I love this school. You get exactly what you put in, if you give 100% you get a 100%. The instructors are really experienced and they have office hours so you can talk or chat with them about the work for the week. The student advisors are really great, and are there to help you every step of the way and also help you if you have problems with school work or life in general. I would totally recommend this school.

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2018

I am very dissatisfied with this school. After tons and tons of calls to make sure they got my grant money, they stopped calling as soon as they say my funds came in. I was withdrawn from classes 3 times without notice. Each time I was told I could restart. They are stir calling for me to restart. They most certainly are only after the money! I would definitely not recommend this school.

Degree: Healthcare Information Systems
Graduation Year: 2015

I was very pleased with UMA. All assignments were posted at the beginning of the week. It gave you plenty of time to get all your assignments and tests completed. My instructors were all good at communicating with you and helping you with any issues I had. My adviser was wonderful to help me with anything I needed. I graduated 9/9/15 with my associates. I passed my RHIT exam with AHIMA 10/7/15. I am now enrolled at WGU for my bachelors in Health Care Management. I loved my experience at UMA.

Most of the bad reviews I am reading is mainly about refund checks not about your degree. I am also currently taking courses for my diploma and if all goes well I will continue on with my associates. I know a school shouldn't be responsible for you landing a job. I have attended colleges in the pass before UMA and there was never anything about the school landing anyone a job. The effort is determined on how much you want it, and how motivated you are. If you want it, you'll find a way.
