"As a student of the University at Buffalo School of Law I expect the best methods of instruction from my professors. I have experienced nothing short of the best. The school makes it a point to ensure the first-year students are paired with the best instructors for the introductory courses. The writing course is mandatory and they push you hard, but also go over any mistakes you make to help you better understand the writing style of the legal world. The administration is welcoming and has an open door policy for any student seeking assistance beyond the classroom. Not only does the school care about academic success, but they spend time helping students chart a course to success. This is evident through the work the career services department plays in helping students seek scholarships, internships, externship, clinical courses and careers pot graduation. I highly recommend this institution to all students interested and ready for a rigorous, but rewarding academic journey."

"Pros would have to include the amazing faculty and staff. They will go out of their way to help you succeed in any way they can. Very approachable. Cons would have to include the out-of-state tuition amounts, lack of scholarships/funding and use of technology. There should definitely be more computers for law students in the law library. There should be more rooms, coffee shops and a general place to hang out."

"This school is a great value. While not all professors are the best, the amount of good professors greatly outweigh the bad. Even if the professor doesn't appeal to your learning style, you have to put forth the effort- law school is about work, and these professors will make you work for your grades. What's great about UB Law is the community feeling you get, while students do work hard and want to succeed, there is still a great amount of support and assistance, not competitive attitudes, that exist. The faculty and staff here really want you to succeed, as shown by the availability of the professors to meet and talk with you and the numerous networking and events that occur throughout the year. I have really enjoyed my first year at UB Law, the school does have countless opportunities and possibilities to have great experiences, but you just have to put forth the effort to get there as well."

"SUNY Buffalo Law is a great value overall. The exception is the on campus housing, which is pretty expensive (although they are good buildings and fairly new). There isn't a day that goes by where there isn't some kind of event to go to for the Law School. The legal community here is close knit and can provide a good network for internships and career opportunities."

"UB law provides a great education, with very competitive students. However, it does not have the atmosphere of a cut-throat program. The students are smart, and the faculty is wonderful, but everyone seems to be working toward a common goal: practical knowledge and job placement."

"Great value for law school. While the name isn't as well known outside of Western New York, the network of attorneys here is very friendly and accessible to students."
