"The UB School of Management is awesome! I started my MBA and I am still working on finishing it part time while working full time in the sports industry. The faculty and staff are hands on, passionate and truly love what they do. You can feel this when you walk into the Jacobs School of Management building. I am so proud to be getting my MBA from UB! We work directly with local companies all over WNY to make connections for potential employment, but also to get real experience on what a career in management is like. The courses range from classes in finance to classes in leadership. You get a taste of everything that you could possibly need to manage a business. You can choose to concentrate in an area, or you can take an array of classes. Each professor has real world experience in upper management of businesses all over the WORLD. UB is one of the most diverse colleges in America. It is 30% International. You will be taking classes with people from Singapore, India, China, Africa, Canada, etc. With over 500,000 UB Alumni worldwide, you are able to create a network of people from all different walks of life! It is truly a special place."

"UB has a rigorous graduate program. The pros of this program are it has a good diversity and good Faculty. The selling point of UB shall surely be LeaderCORE program which helps in becoming a good leader. The major drawback which UB has is the geographic location. And the avg pre-MBA work experience is very low due to which the post MBA avg salary package is low as well. However, in terms of ROI, UB surely stands in the top pool."

"UB School of Management has a very diverse body of students with different backgrounds and overall experience. The school is not only affordable but also offers quality education. An MBA program depends on the student on how immersed he/she is to the program. There are so many things that school has to offer and how effectively we can benefit from the availed resources. The faculty with the years of teaching experience add value to the program. The entire environment is so consuming that I believe that this will be the best two years to build myself as a working professional. There are certain areas that the school could still work on. We can see that the rankings are improving, and the effort of the School of Management team has been tremendous to further distinguish UB from other schools."

"Pros are: 1. It's a very intensive program. The course curriculum is very challenging 2. Faculties are very friendly and are always willing to help out students 3. Graduate Program Office is extremely supportive Cons: 1. The winter weather is very harsh 2. Scholarship opportunities for international students is close to zero 3. Career opportunity for international students is also very rare. University doesn't have that influence in the job market for international students."

"Buffalo is an up and coming city and the surrounding area where the SOM is located is one of the safest suburbs in the area, Amherst, yet is a subway ride away from the busy downtown area. The Buffalo network is strong both locally and internationally. Students truly bond and become a family in the program along with faculty and staff. Everyone knows each other and the support is incredible."
