UAPB is the place to be if you want to experience having a family away from home. UAPB is truly a university that opens it's doors with open arms. As a Golden Lion, you will grow during your years as a student on campus. You receive what you put into your years at this university. It is a great place to be.

Degree: Journalism, Other
Graduation Year: 2014

If you are planning to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as a mass communications major, I say be prepared to learn. The instructors in communication all have experience of working in the field before coming to UAPB. Certain instructors at other universities teach by the book. At UAPB, instructors teach by the book and more. You learn how to write, speak, read and protray your professionalism as the book states but you learn how to take that information and make it your own. I am glad I chose my university and HBCU to obtain my degree.
