"College was a great experience, but in hindsight I wish I would have had a clearer view of what I wanted to do. As it turns out I won't actually use my degree in the work force and this is something that I hear time and time again from others as well."

"A very good university to get your bachelors in. Excellent teachers and clinical instructors; a straight forward approach to learning nursing."

"I love this school and the Chemistry Department as a whole is good. However, you need to be absolutely on top of what you need to graduate. I had three separate councilors and one of them was senile. None of them knew what I was actually supposed to be taking and were utterly unhelpful recommending classes. Just do your homework on your degree and be prepared."

"The University of Arkansas is an amazing school with a wide selection of majors to choose from. I am a kinesiology major and the University of Arkansas has helped me in many ways with my major. I am currently involved in both the kinesiology club and the physical therapy club and they both provide details about my major and how to obtain a job in the future. There are many programs like this for other majors and the University of Arkansas prepares us for our futures and guides us as we apply for jobs and plan ahead."

"I love the Walton College of Business. Everyone there is very helpful and knows exactly what I need to take in order to graduate on time. I have had an awesome experience in the classroom too. The professors are very knowledgeable and willing to help students whenever they may need it."

"I believe that the University of Arkansas has provided me with many great opportunities to study abroad and also to become involved on campus through on clubs and organizations. I have been slightly disappointed by the quality of instructors though."

"University of Arkansas is overall a wonderful institution. I have found much success not only within the education, but community involvement, and financial assistance. I decided to apply for Arkansas after hearing about their in-state tuition scholarship which grants for them to pay 80-90% of in-state tuiton for having a certain gpa and ACT which are both manageable. After finishing my freshman year I decided to apply for more scholarships and the University granted me a scholarship within the school of education and hosted a very nice banquet to congratulate the students that received scholarships. I feel like the professors and staff overall want the very best for you not only as a student, but as an individual. I would never wish to experience the best four years of my life anywhere else."

"The University of Arkansas is literally one giant community. There are an abundance of students, however, it is hard to walk on campus and not see someone you know. This college has some of the friendliest, mos politically active students I've ever met. All the staff and students have open minds and offer incredible insight to various parts of the world."

"The pros of my graduate program start with the fact that our professors do a good job of relaying what real life experiences would be post graduation. They have done well in bringing in not only speakers, but adjunct professors to give us a true idea of how important it is to gain entry level experience and really get your feet wet in many areas to make yourself more marketable in our industry. It helps hearing that from people, other than academics, who have jobs in the industry, especially when they are your professors for a semester. In contrast though, this program struggles in accepting students that did not pursue an undergraduate degree at the university. It is hard to gain experience while in school through a graduate assistant-ship or other opportunities because they are pushed more towards students who did their undergraduate work in this specific program."

"Its extremely hard working one part time job and a seasonal job just to live while I go to school. Between the stress of work and the work load of my class I don't know if I will be able to graduate. The only thing that is keeping me going is my families support and support from my fraternity(Theta Tau). I have no social life, because I can't take the stress, time or luxury of it. On the bright side I get to meet C.E.Os of different companies and I am held at high standers that the employers will appreciate. Also it is easy to make studied groups for my classes and I'm trained in the newest technology on the market."

"The current Master's program in SLP needs a lot of fixes to be what it should. They expanded the program's enrollment without the faculty or clients to support the growth. The result was poor clinical supervision, and less quality teaching, due to larger class sizes. Without good off-site placements, I feel as though I would be completely lost in my field."

"The journalism department at the University of Arkansas was fantastic! I received a lot of help from my professors and they were always willing to help. However, there were limited technology or software courses in the journalism department. Which for anyone going into the world of journalism knows, technology is taking over the industry."

"U of A is a beautiful campus and an enriching environment. Students come mostly from the Midwest and southern regions, due to in state tuition opportunities based on test scores. I love the U of A and have bad an overall positive experience with classes and professors. Parking is a downside, however, and there needs to be improvements. I am involved in Greek life, a system that is very influencial at the U of A. I wouldn't chose anywhere if I had a second chance."

"The program was difficult but not unmanageable and the faculty were very supportive and helpful. The only issues with the program revolve around the general issues with the campus not being particularly student friendly (though they like to claim they are)."
