"The administration is slow to respond and harsh on discipline. If you don't get back to them asap they punish you but they take forever to get back to you [if ever]. Their student support is horrible and the counselling is worthless. The website is so worthless the staff Googles answers to basic questions that should be on the website. I have never been made to feel like such a burden as I have since I transferred here. I hate this school."

"The college/degree does a very good job in stimulating and fostering the skills of critical thinking, advanced writing, and public speech. The topics regarding economics are covered very well. I assumed some of the job matches for me with this degree would be an accountant or loan officer; however, the curriculum doesn't involve any accounting which is required for these jobs. This degree will definitely help with sales or banking and maybe some managing experience. The school doesn't focus heavily on providing internship opportunities for those in this major. Although, the school is heavily focused on providing internships for STEM majors, but that shouldn't deter you from finding experiences by yourself."

"Economics is a great opportunity and I suggest anyone who is at UC Davis to at least take one introduction to Economics course (1A/1B). UC Davis is a big school and difficult to get to know people unless you really put yourself out there and talk to other people; even more so on top of the Economics degree popularity. Really nice small college town/campus that you'll get familiar with quick and the friendliest people ever."

"Davis was an amazing place to spend 4 years. The people are friendly, the faculty is helpful and knowledgable and you will come away with some tremendous experiences. There aren't too many places that allow you to go to class one day, Tahoe to ski the next day, and San Francisco whenever you feel like it."

Do not worry too much about your degree as experience will matter more."
