"This school does not care about their students UNLESS they are in the Honors college. If so then you will get everything handed to you. All the other students have to fight to get advisers that are helpful. But again the academic and financial advisers do not know what they are doing. There is one single adviser for each college. The adviser for the Liberal Arts College needs to be fired. She tries to push everyone into changing their major to Psychology because "I majored in it and look where it got me. I'm very happy." She also uses the fact that you're a girl or not to judge you. UCA provides a very helpful and free counseling service, but if they find out you are suicidal they will kick you out and not give you any refund. Most classes are not offered. Some classes still show up as options yet haven't been taught in over 20 years. Transferring out of this school to save my sanity and not give them any more of their money. They also block students with GPAs lower than 3.0 from doing any free activities that would benefit you such as resume writing, job fairs, tutoring, and similar."

"The University of Central Arkansas provided me with every tool I needed in order to succeed in my career field. What I loved best about the faculty and staff at this university was that they don't teach to a test, they teach and prepare you for what you will see in real life. With Athletic Training, I got to spend as much time as I wanted in the Athletic Training Facilities gaining clinical experience working with athletes and learning how to best care for a variety of different injuries. I was also able to aid the Certified Athletic Trainers during sporting events to provide medical coverage. After graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I felt completely prepared to be on my own as a Certified Athletic Trainer myself. I am so glad I chose to attend the University of Central Arkansas. I completely believe that it prepare me to become the best AT I could be."

"The University of Central Arkansas is very nice and has a beautiful campus. I believe that it was even featured on Buzzfeed as one of the prettiest college campuses in Arkansas. It offers numerous degree options with both on-campus and online courses. The university has many opportunities for students to get involved with school and community events, projects, societies, and clubs. The price of attendance for this university is very reasonable and offers dozens of scholarship opportunities to its students through its foundation scholarship program. This past year, they were able to raise one million dollars to put towards its scholarship fund! Honestly, a student here can receive the same "college experience" and degree as any other school but for half the price. To me, that seems like a win. I received my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in management. I had an assigned advisor that I met with on a routine basis from my sophomore year all the way up until I graduated. This was helpful in my meeting the goals and grades that I needed in-order to successfully graduate in four years. The biology department is full of devoted faculty and staff that truly want their students to succeed and do great things. While some people may think that the cost of tuition determines the type of education one receives, at UCA the students will get a great biology education for a much cheaper price. The school also recently added a brand-new science building that is full of state-of-the-art equipment that many upperclassmen get to enjoy working with. UCA was a perfect choice for me."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time at UCA. They have a beautiful campus and all the faculty was very helpful and understanding! This is the first college I have ever attended where I felt like all of the faculty cared that you excel in your academics. All of the faculty was very approachable when I had questions, and they never made me feel dumb for asking silly questions! Faculty even encouraged everyone to participate in research. Overall I feel like i was part of a very inspiring department!"

"The University of Central Arkansas is a top notch school that has a wide variety of majors to choose from. My goal when I started the FACS program with a focus in Interior Design, was to become an instructor teaching at UCA. While this did not end up working out, I was offered a job at the Walmart home office, where I had a successful career designg stores. UCA had a lot to do with me getting that job and it prepared me to be successful in the different roles I held at Walmart."

"I love the University of Central Arkansas, this has been my home away from home. They truly make it feel like a family atmosphere. They also have tons of resources to help you with classes. They have tutoring services and the teachers are always there to help. I have had a very positive experience here. They have also helped me a lot with finding jobs after school. The degree I have is very hard and some of the classes I am not sure why I have to take, but most of them I will use in the future and have now. The campus is also very beautiful, they maintain a very clean campus. UCA has around 11,000 students, it isnt too big but has enough to feel like you are in college."

"I absolutely love UCA. The staff and students are all so amazing and are there for you when you need them. I never had a class where I felt that my professors did not care about me and my success as well as how well they taught the class. In terms of atmosphere, It is a beautiful campus and everyone is so southernly friendly and warm. I have learned so much from here and am looking forward to continuing my doctoral education there."

"I loved my time at UCA. I thoroughly enjoyed going to class and getting to learn from the professors. I always felt really plugged in, since there were so many clubs/organizations ("RSOs" or Registered Student Organizations) to choose from. From the first time I set foot on campus, even for just my orientation, there was a true pride that was exuded by every person I met. Every person I ever went to for help was more than willing to assist me with any questions I had. I never felt like I didn't have the answers I needed when I went to my advisors, or to my professors. I highly recommend UCA to people from introverts to extroverts. You have to TRY to dislike this school; every one I knew fell in love with UCA almost instantly."

"The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) is a great school. There are a variety of degree programs and extracurricular activities to take part in. I am currently in the program for a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. The department has been approved for and will begin a Doctoral degree program in Occupational Therapy this Fall (2017). The program has given me great opportunities and is expanding my knowledge of Occupational Therapy and the options that I have for my career. The University itself also offers great opportunities and activities for students to participate in. I am also a Graduate Assistant for the University and I enjoy working for the Service-Learning program in the Department of Outreach & Community Engagement. In my opinion, UCA is a great place to pursue a degree! :)"

"As a transfer student, one of the best things about University of Central Arkansas is that they try to give students credit for all of their previous classes taken from other schools so that time and money is not waisted to graduate. In the Arts department, the faculty care about their students and form relationships with them. The teachers push the students through challenges, not just with their artwork, but within themselves as artists."

"UCA was the best undergrad college I could've gone to! I am so happy I chose to go to UCA. The faculty and staff really do care about students' success and it shows everyday! They are always meeting with students during office hours and outside of office hours to offer assistance. I had the pleasure of being on the Student Government Association where I saw first hand how much the men and women that work at UCA care for their students. The only things you'll ever really complain about is parking, but that is every where."

"When I graduated, getting your Doctorate in Physical Therapy was a very new and exciting thing, and UCA was on the cutting edge as only the 6th school in the nation offering the DPT. I feel it successfully pioneered the way for other PT programs to grow and expand in our great state of Arkansas. Our PT program always wanted to be the best of the best, offering students the very best opportunities and experiences possible. The faculty were amazingly approachable and honestly cared that you learned the field thoroughly and enjoyed learning. While they did not make the program easy by any means, they ensured the students who "stuck it out" and studied hard really had a passion for their field. We were given many hands-on learning experiences in and out of the classroom to practice our skills with patients in need and many opportunities to volunteer with the surrounding communities. We had instructors who had a strong passion for their jobs and shared their experiences with us to help us learn. We were offered seemingly endless opportunities to work in a variety of settings as part of our hands-on training and were given fair opportunities to go and practice in clinicals where we wanted. The classroom and lab work adequately prepared us for clinical experiences and made me feel confident and comfortable working in new settings with a variety of documentation styles. The experiences and knowledge I gained from UCA's PT program made me a confident new employee right out of grad school. UCA's program would be an exceptional experience for anyone interested in PT school."

"The Bachelors in Business Administration program is great at UCA. I specialized in Finance. However, you must network and get internships if you want a career in financial management. Accounting jobs are easy to find, but the actual business of lending or corporate finance requires knowledge and a great network."
