  • Degree: Communications
"University of Dayton is a great community and a beautiful campus. The class sizes are perfect and instructors are extremely helpful. The Visual Communication Design degree is a great program for graphic design, marketing, and branding. The material is very practical to real world careers. I learned a lot within my four years at UD and had many opportunities to get involved and participate in programs that were both academic and social. However, UD is a private school and the tuition does reflect that. Although I loved my degree program and instructors, I feel that I could have received a similar education at a state institution or less expensive school. They do reward scholarships but I thought they were minuscule compared to the overall annual tuition."

"I felt like I wasn't just a student number in a huge classroom. My teachers knew who I was and made time to help me out with whatever I needed. The English program was very small and not many people outside of the major were taking the classes so meeting people who weren't English majors wasn't easy. Overall though I'm very happy with my experience in my graduate program."

  • Degree: Public Administration
"Although there aren't a lot of organizations on campus geared towards getting Grad students involved in campus activities, I am always impressed by the University of Dayton's Master of Public Administration program for its diversity of students and disciplines covered and great value. I've been exposed to a wide range of topics in public administration, and our class was even asked to be a consultant for a local city to provide statistical analysis on a major issue! The community and area business contacts that students have the opportunity to make are just outstanding as well. I currently work in the area of public administration, and I constantly learn things in my classes that make me a stronger professional at work."

"The faculty flexible, friendly, encouraging, and are always available to assist you with anything you need. You form a family with your class within the first week of school and get to know each other extremely well! The campus is beautiful and there is a lot to do in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. The classes are intense, but the hardest part is just "getting in.""

"I love the graduate program at the University of Dayton. However, it is extremely expensive to attend school here. The community here is amazing and everyone really loves to get involved. I couldn't image myself at another school"

  • Degree: Public Administration
"I absolutely love the faculty--they are very caring and helpful. The coursework is challenging and insightful. I found an immediate application for all my grad school knowledge in the real world of Public Administration. Graduate assistantships are not very plentiful, however, and finding financial aid can be difficult."

"I also attended University of Dayton for my bachelor's degree. I love UD! It was a warm and caring environment amongst both students and faculty. My undergraduate years are some of the fondest times of my life. I loved knowing every one of my professors personally and knowing that they were always available. I could not have asked for a better college experience. Go Flyers!"

"There is a huge advantage to attending the University of Dayton School of Law! They allow students the opportunity to complete the program in just two-years, and many other schools only allow the traditional three-year Juris Doctorate program. I could not be more satisfied with my graduate program."
