The University of Delaware biology program required students to take a wide range of challenging science courses that prepared me well for graduate school. The biology courses offered allowed students to customize their education to their interests. There were also additional opportunities to take courses in other areas such as exercise physiology.
The University of Delaware and biological sciences department has provided me with a strong background. The diversity of classes my major required and the exposure to different teachers/teaching styles has prepared me to enter PA school with a quality education. My classes varied in size, from 200 to 20 students, but I never felt like just another number. Teachers offered numerous office hours and extra help sessions to get to know their students and to offer their help outside of the classroom. In addition, my involvement in a sorority has provided me with numerous networking opportunities.
The University of Delaware was a wonderful place to receive my education. I got involved easily on campus and felt very much as home even though I was from over 3000 miles away! My professors were attentive and passionate about their work, beautiful place to live and walk around
I would recommend this program to students who are intrigued by relationships and daily interactions. This program gave me insight to the foundation of the persona and personal relationships. This program not only prepared me for my career, but more importantly taught me the importance and the process of understanding the mind when it comes to developing relationships.
I loved the University of Delaware. I thought the classes were interesting and challenging. I took advantage of the study abroad opportunities during the Winter session and I would definitely recommend that to any future or current students. I created many lasting relationships while at the University of Delaware.
Online program is not catered to working adults. You will be expected to turn in the same amount of work as if you were a student during the 16 week semester in half the time. Be careful because with your time on these programs since they are not giving to respect to your work or personal time. These online programs are more for adults who do not work!
It was a beautiful campus and you will fall in love with it the moment you see it. The education prepared me for my future studies and professional career.
It is a beautiful campus, with very knowledgeable professors and staff. They offer a breadth of courses to study and some very interesting classes that you may never find elsewhere.
University of Delaware is a beautiful campus. The courses are challenging, yet rewarding. It was a great experience with wonderful professors and a lot of support.
After finishing my four years at University of Delaware would like to obtain my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from one of the twenty-eight competitive veterinary schools. By the time I am thirty I will then have my Board- certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine to specialize in cardiology. Consequently, I plan on having a stable career at a veterinary hospital, particularly the Cornell University Veterinary Specialists Hospital. I would like to volunteer abroad. I think that volunteering helps you grow as a whole. First and foremost it broadens your knowledge about the world so that you are not ignorant to the global issues and concerns. Also I think any type of volunteering humbles you. I am very fortunate to have a family in my life that constantly pushes me to be the best and provide for whatever I need. Also love connecting with different people. I think it is a great way to develop your social skills with unforgettable experiences. Though I have not had the chance to volunteer abroad, I have had many volunteering experiences in my community. A friend family was diagnosed with acute childhood leukemia. In an effort to bring awareness to the public, specifically to the African American population, his parents partnered with two bone marrow donor registries to increase African Americans registered to donate and to help the community. I was given the wonderful opportunity to help his family spread the world about his unexpected circumstances.
