Degree: Fine Arts
Graduation Year: 2011

Fantastic experience - I would recommend living on campus to make the college experience the best. The university as a whole is well-acclaimed - but I can personally say that the art school was a great school.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2014

Based on my personal experience, my undergraduate education at the University of Georgia has served me very well. I am currently a second year medical student, and I feel that UGA prepared me for the rigors of medical school. The B.S. Biology program at UGA provides a challenging and diverse environment that offers opportunities in undergraduate research, mentoring, and community service. Also- SEC football is fantastic. Go dawgs!

The University of Georgia was the right choice for me. It has been the best experience I have ever had. The big campus, the environment, students, and professors is what makes UGA the best school to achieve your degree at. The city of Athens makes it 100 times better as well. The Terry College of Business is an awesome program. I felt welcomed soon as I stepped into orientation. They are all there to help you achieve what you want after you graduate. The information sessions with different companies let you interact one-on-one with them and eventually pursue a career with them. I am a proud student and soon to be graduate of this college.

Degree: International Relations and Affairs
Graduation Year: 2015

The instructors are generally good at making themselves available to their students for questions and I received excellent instruction. They offer few scholarships though. Especially if you are not receiving the HOPE or transferring in. And if you are in Terry college of business great job assistance at the college level, but not as much elsewhere. The career center is great, but you have to take the initiative to go and take part in their events. Even then, if you are interested in a niche industry like I was, they won't really have much advice for you.

Absolutely loved my university: it was exactly as sporty, partying, cultured, hipster, academic, and international as I made it. Wonderful mix of students and the town of Athens has merits of its own. There's plenty of financial support for students, the student gym and athletic facilities are fantastic, five dollar student tickets to see ballet, plays, concerts make culture accessible, and the connections to internships in DC, Atlanta, and elsewhere, studying at UGA facilities in Costa Rica, Italy, and England, and meeting alumni through networking events, all provide opportunities to achieve whatever you set your mind to. The honors program is an added bonus, with dinner discussions, help with national scholarships, and small classes.
