"Instructors don’t reply to your emails. They have TAs who will reply so late but not solve the problem. Instructors don’t care if your grade is dropping because you don’t understand the assignments, or because they have insufficient information which is misleading in the syllabus. One assignment can drop your grade so much because of percentage distribution. The administration doesn’t answer the call and when they do, they don’t know how to help you. The university’s advisors fail to provide basic information like how to file a degree plan or don’t even tell you, you basically hear it from fellow students. The advisors also don’t care that you don’t have any classes to register for without their permission, which is absolutely ridiculous cause then you are left with the worst of the worst professors. You basically have to figure out everything yourself as they don’t guide you. Online education has also ruined most of the things of this university. But I am sure even if it was in person, it would be the same. They also don’t update the classes you take in other institution and you keep calling them hoping them to add the classes that you took already."

  • Degree: Psychology
"I attended the University of Houston-Main Campus for my undergraduate program. I earned my bachelors of science in psychology with a minor in health from the university if 2013. The university has a strong blended online program that works with their students schedules for working people to obtain their degree. I wish there was better counseling and organization to help students wanting to enroll, then pursue psychology degrees."

  • Degree: Early Childhood Education
"Unfortunately, this online masters in early childhood education program is not deserving of the high scoring received by the US news. It was equal to the level and education I experienced at community college if not worse. The program was created to pump out graduates and not genuinely to teach students best early childhood methods and research. They hook you with outstanding professors semester 1 then water it down semester 2. By semester 3 you can expect the professors to NEVER respond to your emails, NO GRADES and basically NO COMMUNICATION. They lack advanced technology abilities to connect online students with professors: so dont expect to truly feel like a part of a learning community. The On a positive note: its EASY to maintain an A+ and receive your masters certificate. Bottom line Is: if you are in the graduate program to LEARN, dont go to this University. If you are in it for a quick squeeze and easy raise, this will work."
