"ULM allowed me to get my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction quickly and easily online. I live in Ohio but was able to easily communicate with professors via zoom or email. I feel ULM allowed me to stretch myself and exposed me to a variety of material which is beneficial for me as a teacher. Like all of education, you get out what you put into it and the online program requires self-motivation and discipline."

"Please, take it from me - go to any other school in this state. UL Lafayette is a good choice. The culture at ULM is awful. Advisors and professors do not care about students. Multiple teachers do not keep posted office hours. Tutoring center does not offer tutoring for all classes, will treat you like you're stupid for asking for help with something. Every single person I've interacted with at ULM has been unhelpful, scornful, and even downright rude. Takes forever for most people to graduate because of this."

"I planned to take my admission in masters in educational leadership program at ULM. But the way I was discriminated and discarded for the admission that I cannot even describe it in words. I cannot suggest any of the future aspirants to get their enrollment at ULM because of the kinds of discrimination/partiality I experienced. I saw the requirement on ULM web site and fulfilled it. I got a call from the enrollment advisor that all of my paperwork is completed and I would be accepted in the program. But the Dean of Grad School, Dr. Sushma Krishnamurthy was very biased and discriminatory by not allowing me to get admission by holding me for more than 5 months because of the color of my skin and the way I communicate with my hard accent. When I reached out to her supervisor Dr. Ruiz and Dr. Berry for the same. Even Dr. Ruiz and Dr. Berry did not resolve it rather went along with Dr. Krishnamurthy to let her continue partiality!"

"ULM is absolutely the best university in Louisiana. I received my teaching certification, my masters degree and now my PhD from here. Excellent instructors, friendly staff and the most beautiful campus anywhere. I highly recommend this school and would not have considered going anywhere else for my degrees-I feel prepared to conquer the world, thanks to ULM."

"While attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe, I can honestly attest to the fact that the University was organized, believed in academic excellence and provided all students from all backgrounds equal opportunities to succeed. I truly loved the academic atmosphere that ULM provided during the course of my 4 year collegiate career. I embraced the experiences that I had as a student due to the high level of school spirit and involvement of the school's faculty and staff."

"ULM was a great school to attend both times that I attended. The first time was in person as I completed a degree in English. The second time was recent as I completed a degree in Psychology online. I would highly recommend ULM to any high school senior for any subject that they choose to study and is available at the institution."

"ULMs Exercise Science program is hands-on, requires work outside of the classroom, and continually tests your adaptability and awareness. During my time as an undergraduate student I took classes online and in the classroom. The professors and instructors of these courses were extremely involved and experienced, our department staff has employees that have been there through many policy changes, state regulation changes, etc. The knowledge and connections that the professors have made throughout their years at ULM trickle down to each student. We are encouraged to reach out to alumni of our degree program to pursue internships, observation hours, and potential jobs. The course load of ULMs Exercise Science program is challenging. The staff is motivating and does not want anyone to fail or come up short, they do all they can to provide us with materials to succeed. ULMs biggest strength is its faculty. The people that work here dont work here for money or research, they are here to educate and mold minds of the young people in our communities. The facilities at our disposal give opportunities to get hands on experience with exercise equipment (VO2 Max, skin folds, BMI testing, a hydrostatic weighing tank, etc). If prospective students are looking for a university that has personable faculty, is affordable, and provides learning outside of the classroom... they should consider ULM. If this student is unsure of what he wants to do in life but has a passion for sports or finds the human body compelling, he/she should look into a degree in exercise science."

"ULM has given me so many leadership and educational opportunities. The faculty and staff want to see you succeed. My degree plan provides a time when you can get and internship and earn credit towards your degree. It's a good set up because internships give you an opportunity to learn about potential job opportunities and can help people pave a path that is relative and specific to the student."

"Great access to professors and advisors. I was kept up to date on any and all changes the university made including anything regarding my particular college. I attend graduation ceremony and got a chance to view the campus, which have had extensive additions to add to the growth. This particular school is focused on its pharmacy school but has the most options for online programs. Overall, excellent choice for online degrees."

"I absolutely love University of Louisiana-Monroe. It is completely a great school to attend, especially an online school. I transferred from Louisiana State University to go ULM because it offered an online program with a reputable school. I plan to get my bachelors degree in Psychology from this school. I would definitely recommend anyone attending this school; especially if you are in Louisiana. I did have a sour patch with the Financial department for a "pell grant" mishap. However, that does not alter my experience with the school. Definitely great online program, especially for military members. Great professors and even better counselors. ATTEND!"

"A great school where it is not too competitive. Small classes make for an intimate and in depth relationship with professors."
