"The program has been very challenging thus far. I like that the program moves as a cohort allowing you the time and interaction to develop better relationships with peers."

"School of Architecture is a program for ambitious, creative and hardworking students and will put your qualities in test with its intense schedule of classes and high load of homework. Student can understand the architecture done in reality better. The school has a good connection with the outside architecture offices but I would like to see more actual projects that are incorporated into the studio work."

"Great program, but the D.C. area is expensive! It's also a state university, so less funding for everything compared to private schools."

"The Pros would be the amazing teachers and classes that are offered. As well as the fantastic opportunities for internships and networking. The school provides a whole database of potential/hiring employers. The area the school is in is close to one of the most important areas for Library and Archival students. The Cons would be that there are not many sections of the core classes offered, and the workload is higher than expected. Another Con is the area's public transpiration is not great for the town of the school. Its wonderful for the DC and surrounding area, but not for getting around College Park. The cost of school and living is also quite high. I need as much assistance I can get."

"The pros of my program are the internship opportunities to apply what we have learned in the classroom in two different settings. Also, the program in nationally ranked as a great program so it has the respect someone looks for when graduating from school and looking for employment. Another pro is the faculty to student ratio being low enough to feel you can get the attention and help you need while large enough to gain different perspectives from fellow students. The cons of the program would be that it is not really flexible to part time students. As someone who started out as a part time student and is moving to a full time student I felt less supported by some people when stating I was a part time student and full time worker."

"The Pros of my program are the faculty who are really dedicated to the profession and the field of study. Many professors are in the process of fascinating research that give students first-hand knowledge of crucial policies, theories and practices taking place in the field. Professors also have a range of experiences and backgrounds that enrich the department and the classroom. The program also allows for flexibility and choice in order to mold your study to students' specific interest. The Cons are few summer courses offered. There is difficulty in securing a graduate job to help alleviate the financials burdens that accompany graduate school."
