"The education I have received and am continuing to receive at UML has been great. I feel prepared for my future career path and that would not have been possible without the rigorous courses and intelligent professors I have had. The plus 1 graduate program is my next goal to take on. So far it has been going well, I am in my last semester of my undergrad, but have also supplemented some graduate course into my schedule to prepare myself for the more demanding full-time graduate semester I will be taking on this coming January."

"The University of Massachusetts Lowell has opened up numerous doors for me. I have never enjoyed going to school more in my life. My advisor has been more than accommodating and always available to help. He provided me with a private tutor when I needed help with a difficult class and helped me in the process of getting the past two internships that I have participated in. I am now applying to graduate school and could not be more excited to continue my education at Umass Lowell!"

"University of Massachusetts Lowell was a great college. The campuses being spread out give you different cultures that you can experience. Plus, that means there is a focus on particular majors so that you can socialize with people that have similar interests. However, there are many events where all campuses come together to mingle. The class sizes provide a range for students and the professors are there to work with you."

"The college is spread out so if you are taking a variety of classes it may be hard to get from one to the other. The school is growing so newer and better things are always happening. The teachers were nice and other students friendly. Just try not to get run over on the way to class."

"I loved going to the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. It was an amazing school with invaluable opportunities. I got to know my professors very well and even got to intern as a legal intern for a law firm in Washington, D.C. through my school. I highly recommend going to Umass Lowell."

"Loved the college. Excellent opportunities for internships, study abroad, and gaining experience outside of the school. The staff was a great mix of academics and professionals (some professors were former lawyers, police officers, or U.S. reps). Campus has been growing and expanding for the past 8 years or so and shows no signs of stopping."

"Decent, affordable. Friendly professors. In the music program, its not uncommon to find that you are being taught by the same instructors as Berklee. The sound recording faculty and facilities are top notch."

"UML was a great school. There was a great community there. Lots of things to do in the community and the professors in my program had actually helped write the textbooks. I would recommend it to anyone. There is also a lot of support. It had the feel of being in small private school but with all of the activities of a large public school."

"The curriculum is well designed and the faculty at UMass are great. But the financial assistance for the graduate students is very poor."

"Some pros of going to UMass Lowell is that the tuition is reasonable compared to other state schools and privet schools for the same program. The location of the school was also convenient because it was close to my home. I just finished my first semester and thought that the quality of the educational objectives from the courses were very relevant to the nursing field. The workload given was also manageable. One con is the parking, you have to pay for a parking pass even if you're only on campus once or twice per week."

"The Physical Therapy program is a difficult program. The University of Massachusetts Lowell is a great program for the cost and is at a good location for me to commute back and forth. The workload can be overwhelming at times but overall I have been having a great experience and I would highly recommend the school and the program!"

"The teachers in this program are all excellent. They are very intelligent, helpful, and nice if you need anything. The classes are very interesting and have helped me. The connections I made at this school are the reason I currently have a summer internship before finishing grad school full time."

"I am currently pursuing my Masters in Computer Engineering at Umass, Lowell. The program is very competitive and challenging that requires perseverance and diligence. This program sharpens my skills, knowledge and makes me experience in my field that I can confidently work in the company I deserve when I get graduated. Maybe that is why the tagline of my university says" Work Ready; Life Ready; World Ready.""

"Tell us about your college experience. The online program at UMass Lowell was a great fit for me since I was working full time and needed something flexible. I was able to take a break when my son was born and pick right up where I left off. It was also very affordable when compared to on-campus options. What advice can you offer other students? When looking for a college, try to be practical. Don't get yourself into a huge pile of debt if there is other, more affordable options available. The on campus experience may be great, but it may not be worth the financial burden."
