"The University of Nebraska at Omaha is in the center of a growing metropolitan community in the heart of the Midwest. The university offers many degree choices along with a variety of clubs and sports to take part in. The university also has developed many graduate programs for students who seek higher education with compatible placement with other institutions."

"UNO was a great college. Class sizes were moderate, teachers usually knew your name. Getting the courses you needed was simple and the advisors were very helpful. The campus was clean and easy to navigate. Dorms were spacious and safe. I would recommend UNO over and over again."

"I think I've taken this survey before. But. My graduating class and department was so small I'm not comfortable offering my honest opinion as it wouldn't be difficult to figure out who I am."

"The department of Criminology and Criminal Justice was extremely supportive as I studied for my masters degree. Unfortunately, the rest of the university felt disjointed as it is primarily a commuter school."

"Given that you have the year and department I graduated from, and it was a very small graduating class, I'm hesitant to give an honest review. However, it is a quality school, nice campus, etc. But the faculty, at least in my department, are FAR more focused on getting publications than on the best interests or education of their students. If you're interested in doing research, go for it. If you are looking for a quality teacher/student interaction and mentorship, look elsewhere. A student will not be a priority unless they are also concerned about pushing out publications."

"I was a transfer student from a community college in Monterey California. I was extremely please with my transfer into UNO. They were more than happy to accept all the units that I had earned at MPC. They were also very helpful and held my hand through the whole process. I would recommend anyone to attend this school. Not only are the staff and professors for the most part very helpful, they are also great at their jobs and love teaching. I must also recommend for any veterans such as myself that plan on attending, the Veterans Service Organization were and still are a tremendous resource to my college career."

"PROS: Exceptionally brilliant faculty, very high-tech learning experience, assessment of students is done in a manner that reflects students ability to perform in the real-world. CONS: Administrative staff are not available, and the program advisers are not reachable to the students. They do not respond to emails and phone calls."
