Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2014

I adored the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The environment, diversity, and program options were excellent. I actually enjoyed going to classes every day. There were a great variety of courses and topics you could choose to take. Registration was a little tricky, you had to have everything planned out and register as soon as your assigned time began.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2014

My experience at UNCC was very rewarding. Every professor I had encouraged me to expand my knowledge and think outside the box. I received this treated with professors in my major Psychology and my two minors, Dance and Biology. Specifically, one of my professors in the dance department encouraged me to study abroad with her and other students in Italy one summer. It was extremely eye opening and I cannot thank her enough for supporting my dreams and always pursuing me to expand my education in unique ways! The years I spent at UNCC helped me become a cultured, creative, and professional adult!

Degree: International Business
Graduation Year: 2015

I would recommend UNC Charlotte for anyone who is looking to receive a degree in Business. The Belk College of Business had challenging, but effective courses. I graduated with a bachelor of international business and minor in Italian. I was able to study abroad for a semester in Italy and graduate on time. During orientation you are given a guide to what classes you need to take each semester to stay on course. Every semester I met with my counselor to see if I was heading in the right direction. This is what set me apart from students who had trouble getting into the classes. I would recommend looking up all classes and professors before you enroll. Business is not for everyone, so you need to be willing to put in hard work. My favorite class was Business Practices and Policies. This class consisted of real life examples of business conflicts and learning the strategies to solve imperative issues in todays work place. Each week the class would be separated into groups and were given different debates. This was the most beneficial part of my education as it forced students into thinking outside of their own opinions. I have used this skill in the work place post graduation. I left UNCC with a job offer in New Jersey an international importer. UNC Charlotte gave me the tools to further pursue my education. I will be attending graduate school for a Masters of International Business in London.

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2006

UNC Charlotte prepared me for law school. The school is a robust urban research university that could really use the shedding of its commuter school image. Campus is beautiful and there are lots of activities - organized and otherwise - to do during the week and on the weekend. I got a good education with professors who cared and prepared me for law school.

I truly enjoyed this class and really liked the student-professor interaction. I get nervous when I take online classes because you just never know. I appreciated your fast responses to all the questions that I asked. It was a pleasure to be in your statistics class this semester.

This school shaped my career for the better. At the university I was challenged to be my best, to think differently and to exercise integrity and judgement of self and of others. I learned to be a steward of good works in my community and within the nation.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2012

The College of Education at UNC Charlotte prepared me to be the teacher I am today. I would not trade my undergraduate experience for anything. I was challenged by every course to think critically about who I am as an educator. The program made me who I am today in the classroom. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to go into teaching, especially in middle grades.

Degree: Elementary Education

This was a good online distance program. The professors were helpful and information learned was connected to what I am teaching at work. I learned a lot and was not overwhelmed. Presenting at the NC Reading conference in Raleigh was great practice for leading teachers. The online systems for classes worked most of the time and were easy to navigate.
