"I am very disappointed at UND. They may have been a good college at one time, but have lowered their standards. The cheap, low-quality proctored testing they use is a JOKE! When I say the ProctorU testing never works, I mean ever! The academic advisors have no clue what they are doing. They advised me to begin the wrong chemistry class and was never reimbursed! So 2,500.00 for ONE chemistry class is what I paid. This school will take your money and leave you without any resources! DONT GO HERE!"

"This school uses ALEKS as their AI platform which is the most hideous, malfunctioned platform. They can have my money, I'm going to a different college that actually cares about their students! I have invested so much of my life in my vocation and this school was clearly a mistake! Dont waste your money here. The staff don't even have the courtesy to phone you back!"

"During my work and involvement with Student Diversity & Inclusion, I was able to strengthen my interpersonal and professional skills. At the University of North Dakota (UND), I strived to actively seek out on-campus activities that would help me acclimate and expand my cultural awareness. By placing myself outside of my comfort zone, I could participate in an interfaith panel, create an exhibit for a Martin Luther King Jr. honoring, volunteered at my first powwow, and lead peers in cultural events on campus. I believe my accomplishments are largely thanks to the support and encouragement from staff and students at the SDI center at UND. The center is home to multicultural, veteran, LGBT+, and international students who, like me, sought a safe environment to express themselves. There, we could discuss various topics that include acceptance, respect, and inclusivity. I enjoyed my time at UND."

"The kinesiology department is AWESOME! The professors are there for their students and want them to succeed. Their doors are always open and they are so helpful to help us reach our goals. Any struggles you have, if you talk to your professor and work hard, they won't let you fail, if you show you are willing to do the work, they will go the extra mile to make sure you succeed."

"Small class sizes for the kinesiology major helps for more individualized help. Professors at UND are amazing! They always reply to emails quickly and are always willing to give extra times to help any students who have questions or are struggling. The classes are fun and the advisor and professors are for sure there for the students."

"I am part of the first online cohort for the BSSW program offered at the University of North Dakota. Since I was part of the first online BSSW program, I did not have reviews to read or alumni to talk to about their experience so I was unaware of what to expect. I had previously taken some online classes and was unimpressed with their teaching styles and curriculum so my hopes weren't very high for this program. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the classes and the professors. The classes were taught in a synchronized fashion so I was able to see the professor in real time, interact with them as well as my classmates, and participate in lectures and class projects. There were obviously some hiccups sometimes which comes with technology but overall my experience was nothing but positive. My professors were extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and adjusted their teaching methods based on the needs of the class. They were always there to answer my questions, returned graded assignments in a timely manner and were honestly invested in my education and growth in the social work field. I am so glad I was able to attend and I feel honored to be part of the first cohort of the online BSSW program."

"All good teachers leaving on budget cuts, school lies to students and recruits. I would NOT recommend this dis-honest school to anyone. Everything is being cut as this oil addicted school adjusts to changing gas prices. Not the way to run what was once a great institution."

"UND is a great campus, and while they're currently working on budget issues, I would recommend touring and applying for enrollment. The experience I received was a well rounded education which prepared me for my graduate school education at Palmer College of Chiropractic. The professors I interacted were very knowledgeable and helped me learn during my tenure at UND."

"They University of North Dakota was a great place to attend college. It has a very friendly and helpful atmosphere where the faculty wants you to succeed. The classes were challenging enough to keep you engaged yet were not unrealistically difficult. It was the goal of the professors to instruct as well as assist their students in order to take as much as possible from their courses. Overall I found that attending UND was a great experience and would highly recommend it."

"The psychology department is great. They had lots of different research opportunities and extracurricular activities. The professors were willing to work with you on the research topic of your choosing. The department also provides grant and award opportunities for travel and research."

"The education I have received so far has prepared me for most board review questions I have looked at so far. The class size is relatively small (78) and this has fostered comrade in our class. Different people contribute study guides, note cards and small quizzes that we can all benefit from. Our classroom was made specifically for 78 and is organized around tables for group discussions. For difficult subjects this gives us the opportunity to work it out together and the professor will walk around answering questions. Most days are classical lecture style and they are all recorded to be viewed later if you need to look back. They just built a brand new medical school, which is very impressive. There are many different learning areas and group learning areas. The top two floors have several learning communities that have a full kitchen. The kitchens have been nice assets because there are times when my classmates will cook meals for the rest of us. The new building also has a designated SIM lab. Here you can interview standardized patients or practice a physical exam in a setting that looks and feels like a doctors office. These are also equipped with recording devices so that you can view your interview/physical exam afterward. There are also rooms that have high-tech manikins that simulate real patients so we can practice clinical reasoning in real time. You can interview them, order labs or imaging and even listen to heart/lung/bowel sounds. As you provide interventions you can watch their vitals improve or deteriorate. Overall I would recommend UND and I am glad I chose to come here."

"This was a great place to do graduate work. The professors generally did a good job of interacting with the graduate students and mentoring them as they worked on their degrees. The department was small, so there was a good bit of personalized attention."

"The University of North Dakota is located in a very cold state. If you can stand the -30 degrees temperatures then you should consider the school. The people that have attended UND are full of pride and spirit. They have a passion for their university. I really enjoyed my undergraduate adventure so much that I am now attending UND for graduate school. The state has clearly defined seasons and it makes for a beautiful autumn. Take some time to consider the University of North Dakota."
