Degree: English
Graduation Year: 2007

Pitt was good to me and I'm glad I went there. I think my degree is worth more now than it was when I graduated, because the school has done a good job of recruiting competitive students and supporting those students who are focused and driven.

Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2008

I liked being on a campus that was part of a larger community/city, not being isolated like a lot of rural campuses. The sciences are top notch, the prices reasonable (comparatively), and Pittsburgh is a great city to live in all around. 10/10 would do it again!

Degree: Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor
Graduation Year: 2015

The University of Pittsburgh is an amazing school. There are so many fascinating research opportunities happening all the time, great sports, and quality classes. Even though it is a large school, I was shocked at how much personal attention I got from administrative staff that were making sure I got the education I desired. Pittsburgh is also the most amazing city. I moved to Pittsburgh and went to Pitt not knowing anyone else, and I would LOVE to be able to do it all again!

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2012

The Katz school of business was a very good decision for me. Especially as I was transitioning from a job in accounting to ultimately owning my own business.

Degree: Natural Sciences
Graduation Year: 2012

The atmosphere of the university is very friendly and has a great urban feel. If you do your research on your professors you can take some really great classes that are engaging and fun. Don't get a meal plan and don't live in the dorms because it is not a great experience and you will pay a lot of money compared to what you get out of it.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2012

Very expensive, too much online, tons of fees even for online classes where using the campus wasn't even an option since I lived 30 miles away.

Degree: Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2005

The university is great. It has all the options that an undergraduate might be interested not only academically but socially. It's located in a great city. The engineering school offers a ton of support for students to do whatever they might wish whether it's research or industry experience. They have a plethora of clubs and support services. Although anyone's college experience is what they make it, Pitt offers a great opportunity to have not only a respected college degree but a great college experience.

Degree: Economics
Graduation Year: 2013

Great, diverse school. Respected academics but plenty of social things to do. I would recommend it to anyone.
