"Incredible experience, incredible school. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a liberal arts or private college experience. A beautiful campus and beautiful city to live in. The weather is not as bad as many expect it to be, especially when you are surrounded by a supportive group of people."

"I loved the rigor that my professors brought to my classes. The professors at UPS are generally highly competent and committed to giving their students a quality education. At UPS, I found it doable to balance my academic commitments, my extra curricular activities, and my social life."

"The University of Puget Sound is a small campus with devoted staff, advisers, and professors. The professors take time to meet with you, to provide help, and to help with research. The curriculum can be challenging at times but high expectations help students to become better prepared for graduate school or for a career in their field of study. The alumni are involved in helping to network and assists students with career paths and employment after graduation."

"The advantage of this small liberal arts college for science majors is small classes and plentiful instrument time. As an undergraduate in regular classes you will work on GCMS, LCMS, HPLC, NMR and more. The disadvantage is that there is not the same opportunities for networking as at larger universities that have science masters and PhD programs on site, however graduates have gone on to obtain graduate prestigious programs at excellent institutions."

"It's beautiful and has a wonderful community. The college keeps its student body at around 2000, so it feels teeny and comfortable. Professors are super involved, class sizes are small, and there are a lot of resources to succeed. Best programs to major in at this school would be chem/bio, music, psych, or politics, but there are hidden gems in every department. They also have master programs for education and OT/PT. Please do your research, though! This school is extremely costly, as it is small and private. I would not recommend attending unless you manage to get a nicely sized scholarship and/or financial aid package."

"I loved the college I went to and the relationships I made while in school. However, I wish I had chosen a degree that would have helped me find a better paying job after I graduated."

"The MAT program at UPS is an excellent way to work towards graduating with a teaching certificate and Master in one year. Their student teaching positions are well established and help you get classroom experience. However there is little in the way of scholarship or financial aid."

"Students are not required to declare majors until the end of sophomore year, so we all had some time to take courses from all kinds of programs and see if they are interesing. CS faculty are helpful, nice and knowledgeable. They care about students and try to help in every possible way. Very accessible!"

"The faculty and community at Puget Sound is was drew me to the campus in the first place and what I have enjoyed most about my experience here. As a current senior, I have loved how involved the professors are and how much they actually care. I can go into their office any day of the school week and ask them questions about homework, independent projects, questions from another class, career and internship stuff, or just general life stuff. The classroom experience is great - small classes (no larger than 25, even at the intro level classes) and often incorporate lab and lecture (in the CS department). Because it's a liberal arts, I've also taken classes in Business, Spanish, Economics, Philosophy, Politics and Government, Science, etc. My experience, while some better than others, overall has been extremely positive. I already have a job lined up for when I graduate at a company with many other Puget Sound alumni. They all say they felt very prepared for the position and I am very excited to start."

"I just finished my first year of OT school and love it! The teachers are wonderful and provide real world experience to our classes. There are many opportunities for hands on learning and interacting with clients. There's never a dull day in the OT program at UPS."

"The University of Puget Sound offers a great educational experience. The professors are very knowledgeable about the fields of mental health and school counseling. The classroom size are small which offers an interactive experience in which students are able to truly grasp the material. The course material is relative to the field I am entering, and the faculty are readily available if a student is struggling. The cost is high, but the quality of education is unmatched."

"UPS is a great program that prepares you for a career in OT. While the workload is heavy, it is comparable other Master's level programs. There was some classes that seemed disorganized and/or not helpful preparation for our OT career."

"The physical therapy doctorate program at the University of Puget Sound is outstanding. The faculty displays a diverse range of expertise and show a true passion for educating the next generation of therapists. The program is expensive, but the payoff at the end is an outstanding education with an incredibly positive job outlook. Perhaps the biggest strength of this program, when compared to other DPT programs in the country, is the on-site clinic. As undergrad students, we have the opportunity to begin working with patients during our second year. This experience not only improves our performance during off-site clinical internships, it further improves out job outlook upon completion of the program. Overall, this program is outstanding."
