Degree: Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences, Other
Graduation Year: 2017

The University of South Florida is different from many schools in Florida because it is not your typical college town. I have been given many opportunities to network, grow and succeed because of this university. I can't wait to continue my graduate education at the same university!

Degree: Mathematics
Graduation Year: 2017

Seeking a bachelor;s degree in Mathematics at the University of South Florida is a little tough. Majority of the people who are math majors are doubling with either physics or engineering and the subject itself is predominantly male. The headquarters where most of the math classes are taken is in one of the oldest and most run-down buildings on campus. The University is very research heavy but mostly in the realm of science and it is very well shown. Recently the math department was without an academic advisor for 5 months. Besides this, the math classes are very rigorous however I believe that the professors are experts in the field in which they teach but are not teachers. A lot of the classes are curved so that students may pass and that is not the definition of a teacher to me. But Go Bulls!

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2015

I was very satisfied with my time at University of South Florida. I went to nursing school, so the program would have been rigorous regardless, but I always felt supported and never felt as if I was being neglected. Like all programs, there were some teacher who were not as good as others, but Those classes were still manageable. I had a great clinical site and amazing clinical instructors. During our last semester, they made sure to properly prepare us for our licensure exam and really helped us prepare. I passed the NCLEX the first time!

Degree: Microbiology, General
Graduation Year: 2015

Though Microbiology is a tough subject, most of the teachers were very insightful and made the material approachable. That being said, there is a ton of information so if you don't like to study or generally enjoy this subject overall, I suggest choosing a different major.

Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2018

I have enjoyed attending USF since I started spring semester, and would highly recommend this campus to any college student searching for diversity, school spirit, and a good education. The campus is large and allows space for many different activities/events.

University of South Florida is a very diverse and inclusive environment. Many of the course are ranked at a very competitive level and the professor are quite knowledgeable in their areas of study. The work / life balance on this campus is also pretty impressive and I was able to complete my degree with a great GPA while also creating bonds and making some fun college memories.

Degree: Accounting
Graduation Year: 2013

USF was a great choice for me because I was working full-time and going to school full-time. They offered classes on campus and online. I was able to combine night classes with online classes and work during the day, Sometimes there was an ocassional Saturday class available. (English) The campus has resaurants and a cafe on campus, so it was easy to pick up lunch without having to drive. It was safe and clean, parking lots well lit and the professors were very likable, tough curriculum but nice prfessors who challenged you to really think. Overall, I am satisfied with my education there.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2014

The University of South Florida has an amazing school of Business. There are are always great networking opportunities available to students and the professors are all there to help usher you into learning what you need to know to have a great career. The professors often give advice that applies to the real world and not just textbook responses to your questions.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

This is a large school with a ton of students and often times you will feel like a number rather than a name, which is a downfall to the school. There are small things that need to be fixed on the Main Campus, like parking. There are never any parking spots, no matter when you arrive, even though you pay $183 for a parking permit. However, this is a beautiful campus, with many learning opportunities, clubs, sororities, honors societies, etc. that can make this a great place to earn your degree.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2014

University of South Florida is a great place to study. There is always interactive events and festivities that make it fun while working hard. The students take pride in the school and always showing school spirit. Some classes are a small size and intimate attention, while others are great in size. However, there is so much help with tutors and teaching assistants.
