University of Southern Indiana Reviews
Student & Graduate Reviews (6)
I attended the University of Southern Indiana for both of my Bachelor's degrees - in Public Relations and in Nursing. USI had a rigorous and challenging nursing undergraduate program. The professors challenged me to perform my best, while being available and supportive throughout my time there. Everyone - from professors, adjunct faculty, and administrators - were on your side and wanted nothing but the best for the students. I felt I received a quality education there and it served me well, during my first job as a registered nurse. I would recommend this program and school to anyone looking to receive a quality, yet affordable education. I have even started my master's program at USI, in pursuit of my graduate nurse practitioner degree.
The most important aspect of University of Southern Indiana, is how quickly they get you out in the field. As an education student, it was critical to get in the classroom right away. I was observing other educators within the first year. I had a variety of electives with professors who genuinely cared about what kind of teacher I would become. I felt supported throughout my entire journey. I really loved the "small town' feel that the university provided.
The education program at USI is truly exceptional. USI provides a challenging, hands-on learning experience. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in education feeling prepared to step into my very own classroom. The campus is beautiful, diverse, and welcoming.
If you want a close-to-home feel with a safe, blossoming campus, USI is for you. USI is constantly expanding degree programs and the growth has propelled it towards a great future. With caring teachers and online options, the school is right for any student who wants to put themselves in a great spot for future career success.
University of Southern Indiana is a great place to attend college. Besides the campus being beautiful, there are many activities and clubs to participate in, some even pertaining to your major. The class sizes are normally small and allow you to get to know the students in your class and your professors. The instructors are very kind and easy to talk to for the most part. I highly recommend attending this university.
It was a great college that allowed for ample activities to keep you busy and involved.
