"Pros: Valdosta State University provides many opportunities for research both on the undergraduate and graduate levels. The professors are helpful in helping on research or on class material. Cons: Graduate assistants whom are teaching biology labs are not allowed to park in the staff lots."

"I loved the school. I met a lot of new people there. The biology was good but some of the professors were not to great, but overall I liked the degree because all the professors were really sincere about what they were teaching. The professors that were not to great was ones that caused me to give up on that class. I found my finacé there and I actually got pregnant there too."

"Loved this school and the city of Valdosta. Though I cant say the degree helps in my career as I am now working in IT I wouldn't trade my degree for anything. For the most part the teachers were great and willing to help students. Class sizes were neither to big or small. The campus was also beautiful and not to far from the Florida border. I would recommend this school to anyone"

"Small university helps you get more direct contact with faculty. However, they are not used to foreign students like me; it is very difficult to get paper work done properly for foreign people."

"The Marriage Family Therapy program at Valdosta State University is surperb. Being one of few Marriage Family Therapy programs in the nation Valdosta State makes sure to provide and excellent hands on learning environment. Valdosta State University MFT program comes equipped with its own student based family clinic and provides great learnining opportunities with live case observations and consultations. Overall this is an excellent program. The only con about Valdosta State University's Marriage Family Therapy program is the class schedule. Several of the coures are in critical times of the afternoon which can be diffiuclt on those who have jobs."
