"Vanguard University of Southern California is a Christian University, centered around a well-rounded Christian education. As a student at Vanguard for three and a half years, I appreciated the atmosphere and the amount of help that was provided to me. All staff and faculty members were incredibly helpful as well as adoring to each student. The accessibility of professors was impeccable. As Vanguard is a private University, the class sizes are smaller, allowing for more one on one attention as well as more intimate class settings. I would recommend Vanguard to anyone looking for a positive environment to study in."

"The pros of my program are that the teachers are very supportive and always willing to help in any way. The small class sizes really give all of the students a chance to learn and grow while we are in the program. The cons to my program would be that there isn't a huge diversity of students. The public schools now have more and more diversity it would be neat to have a diverse group of students to work with. However, the program is very challenging and pushes us all to learn outside of our comfort zone."

"I received my undergrad at Vanguard. I am thrilled I got excepted to attend Vanguard for my Masters in Organizational Psychology. I can only imagine that this experience will triumph over my undergrad because of the exceptional quality of the school, and the care each administrative professional takes with their students."

"My graduate program is great because they are very flexible. I was teaching at a small private university and Vanguard was great at helping me balance both work and academics. I was able to complete the first half of my teaching credential while attending classes. I was able to use the experiences from my job to qualify for some of assignments I needed to complete (e.g. Teaching Lesson plans). Vanguard also awarded me a lot of financial aid. I received a Christian educators grant , which paid for a good portion of my tuition, because I was teaching at a private school. Vanguard's professors are phenominal! They are able to work with you hands on to ensure you are truly able to understand the material and how it relates to real word application. The teachers have great mastery over the academic content and it is very evident. The teachers at vanguard University are there for the students. I chose to get my teaching credential from Vanguard because of the great experiences I earned in my undergrad. There is such a great sense of community and they leave you confident and prepared to face your potential career."

"There is always pros and cons of various grad programs, however Vanguard has provided a lot of support during my time as a working professional and returning to school. It is nice to find a facility that is supportive both financially and with your schedule. I think that there are always alternating views to how a program should be run, but overall Vanguard has proven to be a great program, utilizing various professionals in the field to elaborate on the education and leadership concepts learned."

"This is a pretty good school with good professors. It can sometimes be difficult to get help from administrators. The best knowledge will be gained from classroom experience, not at the university itself."
