"One of our teachers was going through litigation because of a dispute with her old employer. She never came to class due to migraines. The exam she gave was poorly written. The multiple choice questions on her exam were pulled from a bar prep website. The other section had the pleasure of having another teacher who got side tracked and the class got way behind as a result. Paying 1k for each class with those teacher was a total waste. Would not recommend this school for law studies."

"Great school for law. Excellent for older students. Standards are rigorous but very rewarding.Multiple courses although not all are offered every semester. Had a great experience. Professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great school for serious students."

"Washburn University has an outstanding graduate degree program for the school of social work. Many may not know that they offer an incentive for maintaining a high GPA in the 2nd half of the BSW program to qualify for a waiver of the first year of the graduate school program. This allows those that are successful in the undergraduate program to complete their graduate studies in 1 year and a summer semester versus attending a full 2 years of graduate school."

"Washburn offers a great program to fulfill the requirements for The University of Kansas' school of pharmacy program. The teachers are great and the courses where challenging as they should be. Overall tuition is affordable when compared to larger campuses. Not saying Washburn is a small school but maybe medium sized, a person can get to any building in about a 10 minute walk. Washburn has a large library with 3 floors to study at, great for finals week. The only thing I would say is anyone who also would be a science major, the parking lot around the science building is small and can fill up fast. I recommend getting to school about 10-15 minutes early to score a decent spot in the parking lot. I didn't have any problems after I started arriving earlier. Again, Washburn is a great school that offers the courses needed to fulfill pre-pharmacy requirements, at a cheaper price than the pharmacy schools."

"Washburn is a school with extreme diversity and opportunity in the city of Topeka, Kansas. I initially went into the athletic training program as a last resort and it was the best decision I made in my life. The instructors there challenged me outside my comfort zone and pushed me to be excellent and to strive through adversity. The deepest appreciation I had for the athletic program was the opportunity and motivation by the program and instructors alike. I will forever bleed blue and white as a Washburn Ichabod."

"Washburn was the perfect small college for me to begin my education career. It provided me with small class sizes that allowed me to get to know my professors on a personal level. I was given many opportunities to succeed at Washburn whether it was through academics or campus involvement."

"Washburn University's biology program is phenomenal. Although arguably the toughest biology program in the state, I learned a great deal and made connections with all of my professors with the small class sizes. The labs are intimate and in-depth and easy to get into, unlike the larger state schools in the area. Help can be easily attained from the professor themselves with ease."

"Because of the education that I got at Washburn University, I was able to pursue a career in marketing. I would like to see a greater focus in digital media communication. So much of what is expected when you graduate, is the ability to be able to communicate with potential clients through digital media."

"College is helpful when being used as a means to an end. In the instance of my own schooling, I knew that I needed an advanced degree to do what I wanted. I had applied at other schools prior to getting admitted to my school, but I am glad that I was able to get my degree from my college."

"I had 2 of the best professors at this school. Sadly one has since passed away. I loved the school! The financial aid department was not the best. I lost out on a lot of money because of their inability to help students, but that was a long time ago. Nothing that can be done about it now."

"Curriculum provides a great deal of flexibility and isn't so difficult that you must commit all of your free time to studies. Professors understand that most of their students are working at the same time as obtaining their MBA. Easy to balance work, school, and life. I recommend this program to others."

"Very good school. Nice administration and Professors. Lacking diversity. I would recommend Washburn because of the class sizes and availability of courses and majors. I appreciate the family atmosphere. Non-traditional students are welcomed at Washburn."

"Washburn University is the perfect college for a person looking for a one-on-one education. Even in the general education classroom professors make time to know each student. The class site never exceeds 30 to 35 students! Wowzers! For such a "small" school Washburn is one happening place."

"Each class is only taught by one prof., so if the professor is bad, the class is bad. A MAcc program is available and very helpful. Some faculty are very helpful with posting job opportunities."
