"Wash Coll was an amazing environment for a student to grow in many directions. While my main focal points were theatre and English, the liberal arts education structure allowed me to study fields that will ultimately be very helpful for the career path I am interested in pursuing. The faculty in the theatre and English departments are top notch, and the resources the school provides are excellent. The small-town feel of Chestertown Maryland is comforting and engaging, as long as the student is willing to engage in the community outside of the college."

"Washington College is an exceptional school. It is located in a quaint and friendly town right on the Chester River. The shops, town events, and opportunities to explore the waterfront are so unique. The campus itself is beautiful and peaceful. Between the greens, century old buildings, and views of stellar sunsets over the water, you can't get much better. The classes are rigorously taught and expectations of success are high. The professors are always there to offer support and assistance in each and every way. Opportunities for personal and professional growth expand more and more each year, with the growth of programs (i.e. Environmental program) and community outreach. The atmosphere is positive, inclusive, and energetic. Sporting events and greek life events bring an edge of excitement to the campus. The campus is safe and crime is low. The student body at Washington College is a very tight knit community - everyone knows everyone; you always have someone to walk to class with, grab lunch with, or hang out with on the weekend. Washington College brings success, knowledge, and personal growth to all that attend."

"Washington College prepared me well for my future while also providing support and numerous opportunities. I was able to graduate a semester early with two B.A.'s in Psychology and Music. Overall I have received a well-rounded education beyond my degrees. I feel well prepared for the graduate program I am about to pursue. My professors pushed me to be my best and were clearly passionate and knowledgeable in their subjects. The small class sizes allow for close relationships with professors and more individual time as needed. I truly believe I am a better person after my experience at Washington College."
