"I personally believe that my overall experience as a student at WCCC Downtown Campus in Detroit served it's purpose for me. I have gained some very insightful knowledge and experiences in my coursework of learning that has truly been an invaluable experience. I am grateful for some of my professors and strongly encourage individuals who have been out of high school for many years to take the community college route first. This will save you a lot of money and will also help you to determine if college life is really for you. I had a lot of hands on assignments and some group assignments in which you learn how to work collectively with others. I was not a huge fan of group projects because it always seems to add more stress to the equation of some lazy people looking for ways to let others pull their load and mine. This is one of many things I do not miss. The financial aid team was very good about processing funds and explaining when refunds were due to received monies. I can only hope technology is 100 percent better thanks to the information age."

"Tell us about your college experience. The school was great, instructors were helpful. The school was close to home and the amount it cost to attend was in my budget.Would you get the same degree if you could start over?No i would go into nursing or some other high demnd field. I can not find a job in my field of study. What advice can you offer other students?Pick something you like and explore all the options to get you on that path. Don't go into something like busniess if you are not a leader. take your placement test seriously."
