"Absolutely no support for international students or anyone. I am very disappointed with the leadership. Grad students are not their priority, though I’m not sure what their priorities are. I wish I had applied at schools that were willing to pay their TAs a livable wage!"

"WVU is hard to get used to your freshman year. There are 3 different "campuses" within the main campus. It is a very large school with a lot of diversity which is great! Your general education classes like intro. to bio/chem/english/etc are not very personal because of the volume of students that need in those classes. However, instructors always have office hours and a lot of them are very helpful during those hours if you need a more personal learning. Once you get into your major classes, the professors are awesome. Medical lab science is a very small major with about 25 students. It was very personal and all of the professors were so helpful and wanted you to succeed. I am going back to WVU for my graduate degree. It is an awesome experience."

"The Bachelor's of Multidisciplinary studies degree that I earned at West Virginia University has proven to be a useful pre-requisite to my pursuit of a Master's program. My minors, which comprised this Bachelor's Degree, were English, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. As a student whose interests spanned a wide array of disciplines, I had a hard time narrowing down the degree to just these three. I appreciated the opportunity afforded me by this degree program to be introduced to multiple disciplines and to discerningly integrate that which I was taught concerning each discipline into my own understanding. I am now pursuing a Master's of Divinity degree at Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana. This degree demands an ability to deal with the multiple disciplines involving literary analysis, historical studies, religious studies, archaeology, linguistics, public speaking, teaching, and counseling. For those who have pursuing a life of learning, I can readily say that the Bachelor's of Multidisciplinary studies degree I earned has proven to be a good start."

"WVU is a very special place. You're going to get out what you put in. I studied business, and I received a good education from all of my professors. As far as the cost went, it was unbeatable. Their out of state tuition alone was about half of what my in state tuition was going to cost me. I think the biggest thing that I took away from WVU was the people that I met, and the network I built. It's because of me going to WVU that I am now able to pursue the master's degree that I am. Country Roads will always take me home."

"West Virginia University is my home. I honestly cannot imagine attending another university. The campus is unique, historical, and beautiful. There's always something to do and something going on. The people are down to Earth and everyone you meet is striving to learn. The seasons in Morgantown are distinct, which keeps the entire school year interesting and refreshing. The classrooms sizes get smaller each year and the professors always have scheduled times to help you learn individually if you need it."

"WVU is an A+ school for B+ students. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, the professors are intelligent and helpful, and the fun only stops when you want it to. If I could do it all over again there is no doubt in my mind that I would pick WVU."

"My university was an amazing experience, and I have no regrets about choosing to go there. It came down to a decision between WVU and a small private college, and I felt more drawn to the large state flagship university experience. Going to WVU gave me countless avenues or paths I could choose to follow, and options are something everyone should want when it comes to their time in college. Through WVU I was able to study abroad twice, once in Istanbul, Turkey and once in Morocco. WVU provided me with the support and tools I needed to apply to scholarships and grants in order to undertake these opportunities. I was able to obtain approval to become a federal work study, and worked in a dormitory on campus and spent most of my time at this job signing students in and studying which allowed my grades to get where I wanted them to be. My professors always encouraged us as students to visit them during office hours and participate in class discussions and give our opinion. I graduated last year, and they informed all the seniors that they would still be a resource for advice post graduation, and told us to keep in touch on what we do next. I had a great advisor who listened to the types of subjects I was interested in, and tried to schedule me in the best classes she could with the best teachers, and had life conversations with me besides. I have been in a full time federal volunteer program since graduation, and the positive undergraduate experience I had makes me look forward to the day I apply to a graduate school program and get to experience the possibilities of being a student again."

"West Virginia University has an amazing pharmacy program. It's set up as a 2 + 4 program. My class was the first to experience the new curriculum they have established in order to better the program, and though it's been a learning experience as a guinea pig for the new curriculum, it has truly been rewarding. The professors and advisors are amazing and always willing to help."

"WVU is a great place for higher education. Another great thing about it, is the price is reasonable and the value of your education is excellent. The professors are almost always approachable and will work with you. If you attend class and participate, and study, you will do just fine. WVU has a very diverse student population. There are lots of classes to choose from to meet your graduation requirements!"

"The Social Work program at WVU is a wonderful program. The teachers are passionate about the subjects, and want you to succeed. During the course of the program, you learn about many different opportunities that you can take advantage of in the field of social work. There is something to do with the field that interests everyone, and they prepare you well for your future as a social worker."
