"Wheaton College (MA) was a place I knew I wanted to be the moment I set foot on campus. Of course, this may sound cliche, but the feeling of belonging was real and stayed throughout my four years there. Wheaton's campus is as wonderful as its community. Wheaton is set in a quintessential New England town located between Boston and Providence. Beautiful landscape, a footbridge with a pond underneath, and old buildings with rich history are just some of the reasons Wheaton is so nice to attend. Once you set foot on campus, you can picture yourself getting coffee with a professor, or hanging out in the adorable quad, aptly named "the dimple." Wheaton truly cares about their students' successes both academically and otherwise. I never once felt like a number at school, and always felt like my opinion was valued. Professors are top notch and really want their students to have a passion for their material. I had many positive relationships with my professors, some I still keep in touch with to this day. A unique requirement Wheaton has is it's "Connections" program. Students are required to take two sets of two different classes that somehow connect to each ohter. I still think of these connections to this day, as it amazes me how we can find relative meaning in almost anything. Wheaton will always have a special place in my heart as a place that both challenged me while encouraging me to grow."

"I truly enjoyed my experience at Wheaton College. The rigorous course work, the challenging topics of my studies, the constant search for diversity between cultures and studies, the relationships with classmate and professors and the attention to tradition, are all key factors when apply me to Simmons College for my Masters of Social Work."

"I am very grateful to have graduated from Wheaton College. I had a positive experience academically and socially and felt well-prepared for graduate school and the career that followed. Specifically, I loved being a religion major. The religion department had only three professors and 4-6 majors each year which made it a tight-knit group. I was able to develop great personal relationships with my professors and classmates and had a lot of guidance in classes and for my senior thesis. I do think Wheaton is academically rigorous, but I don't think it is the MOST academically rigorous school. I think it is a place where you can excel academically, but also be in a nurturing environment that is not overly competitive. That atmosphere worked for me. Socially, I enjoyed being at a small school, though it is not for everyone. Overall, I recommend Wheaton for students who want small, personal classes with professors who care a lot about individual students."
