"Wheelock does a great job connecting students with internship opportunities, so they graduate with both the classroom knowledge and hands-on skills to pursue and succeed in their intended career path. Wheelock is a small community but in the education, social work, and child life fields, Wheelock has an outstanding reputation. Wheelock can be an expensive investment for those pursuing a career that does not have higher paying salaries."

"Wheelock truly integrates internship/practicum experience into their programs from the first semester, providing graduates with a strong basis for entering the workforce. Unfortunately this also makes it more challenging for someone to complete continuing education when already working a traditional full time job - but for a young adult with flexibly scheduled part-time employment, this is the ideal program to prepare graduates for a strong start to their career."

"Wheelock College is a small, private school that specializes in fields that contribute to society and the communities around us. I love the mission of the school which is to "inspire a world of good" by "improving the lives of children and families." I believe in that mission and feel that my experiences at school and in my internships support that mission."

"With my Wheelock degree, I found that I was not fully prepared to work in the classroom as a full-time teacher. In my four years at Wheelock, I never experienced crucial special education situations, such as reviewing behavior plans and attending IEP meetings."
