Student & Graduate Reviews (3)

1 out of 5
Degree: Mass Communication/Media Studies
Graduation Year: 2011

This was a great school for me to learn hard life lessons and build great character. I learned how to be independent and to utilizes the resources that are available. The organization of the school itself does need a lot of work. The staff was not properly trained nor informed. At times staff did not seem helpful. The professor professionalism was not good and the culture of the school seemed very relaxed.

Degree: Exercise Science
Graduation Year: 2017

Winston-Salem state University provides a wonderful opportunity for students to utilize their resources to be successful while providing the necessary tools to succeed in life following graduation. The Exercise science department has a rigorous curriculum that has mentally prepared me to succeed in my graduate program.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2012

I am very fortunate to have been accepted into the accelerated BSN program, and although it was slightly unorganized and poorly laid out at times, the classes and professors prepared me well for the whirlwind and often overwhelming career that is nursing.
