"Worcester State University was the perfect school for me! I attended a small high school with a class of 31 and was nervous about attending college on a bigger scale, in a bigger city. Worcester State University had small class sizes that left me feeling seen and heard by my professors. I also was able to find a group of friends that I maintain close contact with years later. The small school had a home-life feel and I always remember WSU with the utmost fond memories. For class sizes, I really appreciated the small classes. As I got deeper into my degree, the specialized classes were small (around 30 students) and that allowed for a relationship with the professor that I felt some colleges may lack due to sheer size. I was able to form a connection with my peers that also promoted group process and discussion. Given my experience, I felt prepared to handle life challenges and renew my passion for school by applying for a Masters degree. I lived on campus and there I was able to form a different array of friendships that helped to not only foster my experience at WSU, but it also helped me develop who I was as a person. I stay in touch with my friends from college and we often times reminisce about the great experiences we shared both on and off campus. I was part of different groups and organizations on campus which helped broaden my experience, giving me a full social calendar to include my hobbies and interests."

"I attended Worcester State University and obtained my degree in Psychology with a minor is Business Administration in 2011. I found that the teachers were engaged and invested in the students and that the classes were challenging and covered a wide range of topics. The one place that I always felt the University fell short was in the processes leading up to the classes, i.e. advising, financial aid etc. During enrollment I always felt as though I was missing something, or had skipped a step, I dont believe I ever actually met with an advisor who knew anything about me or my goals. On the contrary it was a person who looked over my previous classes and jammed together a new schedule based on whether they were in the same time slots on the same days. That being said, the teachers were wonderful and the classes always met my expectations, and at the end of the day the important piece of school is the education you are able to walk away with."

"Going to Worcester State for my bachelors degree was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is a very close nit community where the professors will take the time to know your name. The campus itself is beautiful and they really invested a lot into modern buildings and tools for their students. Their academic and career services really helped me excel in my classes with ease and convenience. If I could, I would choose Worcester State University all over again."

"It was definitely moving up when I graduated. Very diverse and offers a hands-on learning environment"
