"York College is an excellent school for students who plan to major in the sciences. The facilities are excellent and the professors are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. There are several internship opportunities that will become available to students especially those who major in Environmental Health Science. York College is a great school."

"I came to York College in 2011 as a freshman not knowing what to expect. Being from California it was a difficult transition. At the time I did not want to transition or make any friends. Within the first two weeks here I knew I wanted to go home. My parents said I had to at least finish out the semester so I agreed. During that semester here so many people reached out to me to tell me how loved I was and how much they wanted me to stay. I still decided to leave. I went to a junior college for two years in California and it was fun, but nothing like York College. I convinced myself that I liked it that way, but sometimes I still thought about York and the amazing people at this college. After two years I was given another opportunity to return to York and further my education and finish my softball career. I took that opportunity with open arms. I decided to be more open and make more friends. I ended up making some of the best friendships here, half of my wedding party will be friends I made here at York College. I was also named York's softball program's first NAIA All-American! I don't think that would have been possible somewhere else because the love and support I received here made it possible for me to be as successful as I ever dreamed of. I now work here at York in the admissions office and am taking York's online master's program for organizational leadership. I am so thankful that I got this second opportunity to come back to York and become all I can be. Thank you York College!"

"I am from California and I went to York College in Nebraska my freshman year. It's a small Christian College so it was very different than what I was used to back home. The weather was freezing too! I thought I hated it so I left after just one semester. I went home and went to a junior college for two years. I always had York in the back of my mind though. I had sometimes questioned if I made a mistake leaving but I was too prideful to admit it or to try to go back. Well, in 2014, I was given the opportunity to go back and continue my education and softball career. So, I took a leap of faith and decided to go back. That was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I decided to open myself up and try new things there. I got more involved and made friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was able to thrive in school and softball. I received All Conference honors, All Region honors, and All American honors. York College changed my life forever. I moved back home to California but something still doesn't feel right being here. I miss York, which has become another home to me, which is why I have decided to move back to York, Nebraska to pursue a masters degree and to be able to do what I love, coach softball. "
