Salary and Debt by Major at Luther College

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Luther College's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Luther College to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

(WARNING: Long review coming through) Let me start this review off on a positive note: The campus is very easy to get around, and while it may be a bit of a pain walking in sub-zero degree temps, everything is relatively close by, and they gave me a lot of options as to where I wanted to live on campus (Freshmen have a choice of 3 different res-halls, one in front of the arts center, which was where I was at, another by the gym, and another, well, no idea as I don't have the campus map in front of me, but... Luther is a small private liberal arts school in the upper east side of Iowa. Although remote, the town of Decorah and the Luther campus create a special environment that is easy to enjoy. The faculty and staff make their students a priority and push us to be better than when we started. The multitude of on campus extracurricular activities set it apart from many other schools of similar size.
